From up on Toro later on it seems like piping is being put in or some sort of structural support just like what was at the helix. Lots and lots of cars! (more sarcasm) This place is really really great! This place could be open by tomorrow! See! And staff were being trained in there how to make donuts and use the cash registers and such throughout the day. The fountain was off the entire day. Time to investigate why! By the way, the Big Wheel looks GREAT! Major props Six Flags! And the LED lights are beginning to get ready! The only downside to the Big Wheel is the top of the cars look nasty BlueDUSA from above! El Toro! It originally opened with one train with dummies and one with people, but later to two public trains. For you park skyline lovers. For you Batman: the Ride lovers. For you chocolate lovers. For you wanting to see what is happening at the old Chiller observatory lovers. Time for some Batman action shots! Oh and Nitro didn't open with the public... Time to take some fancy shots. It was still so nice out! Rolling Thunder looks so nice from El Toros exit! There faces say it all. Air time galore! This photo is something I have yet to take. Who is Josh and why did his camera get taken? Nice TR and awesome pics! They took my camera away even though it was in my secure pocket, but I got it back. It was all just a little bit of confusion, LOL. I didn't take it on any ride or anything, it was when I was going to get in line for Skull Mountain. The new staff got trained heavily and a little "over-board" but it was alright, they are all still learning. I got it back without a problem and I wasn't mad. Give props to them enforcing the rule!

Well here was the epic shot that should had been on the second post! I did manage to get on a lot of different rides and rides I would never normally ride, but no re-rides due to the wind. That is okay though, I've been on all the rides more than enough in my life. I hit Batman the Ride, Skull Mountain, Tea Cups, Carousel, Scream Machine, Superman, El Toro, Rolling Thunder, Fly Me to the Moon (just to stay warm, hahahaha) and The Dark Knight. El Toro was running a tad slower due to the fact it was fighting the wind throughout most the ride, but it still had so much ejector that the average rider or first time rider for that matter would had not even notice the difference. Batman to me felt like it was going extremely fast through the entire ride. It was great! The park really tried to work their best to open all the rides. To the point that riders were sitting in Nitro waiting to be dispatched as the last empty train valleyed.

I am SO SO SO dead tired right now. Today was a mix of emotions type of day. The park had tons of problems with opening ridesi n the morning, and it was cold as hell. It wasn't the park's fault for the rides to close however, it was the wind and coldness. Wind gusts were insane. Nitro valleyed which I can confirm, and I heard El Toro valleyed as well. In the morning only Batman, Skull Mountain, Scream Machine, and Superman were running. By 6pm, Batman, Skull Mountain, El Toro, Rolling Thunder, Scream Machine, Dark Knight, and Superman were running. Waits were pretty minimal for most of the day. Toro's slow dispatches and one train made over a hour wait however. Though once with two trains and faster dispatches it will easily become only twenty minutes. It did get warm but took a long time. Ran into a lot of great people! Also got to meet Big Mike from the Big Mike Show on Theme Park Review. It was a great time. Below is the update, and due to being so tired with a Phillies Game, six hours of sleep, and Great Adventure their is no captions. Most explain themselves. Enjoy! And for more photos, check out Twitter where I did live updates from today!

Time to bust you guys, that wasn't my car, it was just in the picture, LOL. I drive a Nissan Quest. -
Now this is how you have to travel! The Big Wheel looks to be completed with the cars from the view from Prospertown Lake Even though the clouds and rain ruined the photo quality, the wheel in person looks AMAZING! The new paint stands out completely, it is beautiful! Super-zoom view! One last view from Prospertown Lake. Sadly no rides were testing since I was there of course The banner outside of the park still showcasing the 2009 season passes! Go buy some now! The Jackson Outlets advertisement for Six Flags Now onto Reed Road! This is your warning for those who go on Reed Road! One more "retro" warning!! For those who actually believed Outpost, Great American Scream Machine is still safe and sound.. Kingda KYA is ready for this weekend! I spy a birdie! A other shot of Mr. Bird. Elllo Mr. Ostrich! Don't neglect me! GASP! Stray cattle feeding HERD! These guys enjoying a few more days of the off season before the Wild Safari and the park begins a other great season! And for those wondering, Bizzaro (Medusa) was covered in fog not allowing me to take photographs... but for those who is following us on our GADV.com Twitter we had LIVE PARK UPDATES from today! And we will have LIVE PARK UPDATES this Saturday of Opening Day Eve on our Twitter as well... starting at 9am!!

Welcome to Lake Lenape Park. Located in Mays Landing, New Jersey. The park closed a few years ago I believe, was stripped of all its rides and buildings shut down or destroyed minus a few. I was able to go inside today due to a crew race being held on the lake and got hold of some photographs. A old park exit rusting away. The park's carousel was held in here. Doubt it is still in there, but the building itself is all boarded up and shut down. Mini golf anybody? Mini golf rules. This used to be a foundation for a ride. The park resided next to Lake Lenape (go figure). The light house is all that really remains untouched. I am also debating about submitting this photo to InterfaceLift. Should I? Water. Noted. And oh snap, it is me. And since it is crew, why not one action shot. The place felt eerie, but with the amount of people there it kind of lost that touch.

Only one championship in Philly. -
So true man! Hopefully right next door I will see a Eagles banner flying as well.
-
I agree with you on that sense. All the trophies in sports mean nothing in basically "wowness" compared to the Stanley Cup. The commissioners trophy was also a LOT smaller then what I thought it would be. I've saw the Stanley Cup back when the Devils won it (ugh, hate them..) and that is the most beautiful and stunning trophy you will ever witness. It is the biggest trophy I've ever seen in my life. But at the same time, that commissioners trophy is symbolic, especially when your team wins it. Since I waited my entire life to see not just a Phillies championship, but one of my teams to win a championship, it almost becomes a holy emblem if you know what I mean. Look at this way; I've waited to see either the Phillies, Flyers, or Eagles bring home a championship. About damn time I can finally celebrate a little!
-
Which teams Lombardi? That is sick.
-
Came home from school, and decided to walk one block past my house and go see this little thing... called the COMMISSIONERS TROPHY! So it was like held at the Chickie and Petes which is a block from my house... literally. The place was mobbed as anything, but I managed to go see and check out the trophy and head out in less then twenty minutes. Also got a red bull. Check the photos! Phillies World Series champs just keeps getting better!

If you think about it, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are the same thing in distance just about. I see a Pennsylvania Super Bowl, and Tampa being torn apart from it. -
