  1. I just played for the first time and i won a big green ball! thanks for letting us know about this. and thanks to headcheez for the help. it was fun chatting with you while we were standing in line.
  2. Thanks Patrick. Glad you liked it.
  3. Glad you liked the pics. We were able to ride all the coaters in 2 days, but we were there early in June and stayed at a CP hotel so we were able to take advantage of the early entry to the park. And we didn't ride any flat rides at all. On a packed summer week, I could see it taking at least 3 days to do the park. The locals on the board may be able to offer more insight. Have a great trip. Tom
  4. Has to be IOA for me. The Hulk & Spiderman are probably my 2 favorite rides anywhere.
  5. Top Thrill Dragster!! @ midnight!
  6. the Shockwave - Six Flags Over Texas! (1980 or so, maybe sooner)
  7. 1) Raptor (CP) 2) Silver Bullet (KBF) 3) Dueling Dragons Fire (IOA) 4) Dueling Dragons - ICe (IOA) 5) Batman the ride - (SFOT)
  8. Well it would depend on what area, but the whole state is loaded with parks. There is dorneypark in allentown, hersheypark in hershey, knoebels in elysburg, waldameer in erie and kennywood near pittsburgh. Then there are some smaller parks that are worth while going to like delgrosso's and lakemont which are both near altoona , and there is ildewild below kennywood, and dutch wonderland in lancaster . I guess that is about it. Here is a link to rcdb. www.rcdb.com/qs1.htm?quicksearch=pennsylvania Thanks so much! He just left Texas yesterday for Corning, NY - just over the PA boarder. We are starting to plan our first trip to visit!
  9. Hey Robbie, how did your trip go?
  10. Let's see.... The Hulk (IOA) 6x The Raptor (CP) 5x Texas Giant (SFOT) 10x Ghost Rider (KBF) 1x Tatsu (SFMM) 2x Millennium Force (CP) 4x Maverick (CP) 4x The Riddler's Revenge (SFMM) 1x Top Thrill Dragster (CP) 4x The Big Dipper (Spring Lake - OKC, OK) 5x? I am always amazed at the rides that some people don't like. Maybe it has to do with how many times you've ridden them. Tatsu for instance, I thought was a wonderful ride, very exciting, but I've only been on it 2x. The Big Dipper was the first coaster I remember riding. It was great (as far as I recall) out and back. The park has been gone since the mid 80's.
  11. Thanks! Glad you liked the report. I've got a buddy moving to PA in a couple months. What parks/coasters are in your area that we should hit?
  12. Yeah, it really is amazing for shooting. We didn't have blue skys until the last day, which helps a lot. I saw that you were from Salina, KS. I went to college there @ Marymount. It isn't there any more (not my fault!). I graduated in 1984 and only made it back a couple times after that. I just heard about a reunion for next summer. What coasters are there in Kansas that I should try to ride when I am back?
  13. Have a great trip! And let me know how it goes!
  14. Hey Mike, Just wanted to say hi and that it was a pleasure meeting you at lunch during Coastermania at Cedar Point this year (we noticed your t-shirt and talked briefly about your trip to Oklahoma). I am new to the boards here and didn't realize when we talked what a celebrity you are! Anyway, it looks like the trip is a great deal of fun and love the pictures. I look forward to seeing what happens on the rest of the trip. And if you have time, check out our trip report for Coastermania: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=44410 Travel Safe, Tom
  15. When are you going? Let me know how it went when you get back!
