  1. Haha, whoops! I should have known, but I have never been to Port Aventura, so I don't know the area too well
  2. How can it look something if they have not started building anything yet??!! Then what are the construction pictures on the previous page?
  3. Is it me, or does this ride not look like a hyper? Judging by the construction photos, this ride does NOT look 200 feet tall.
  4. In my opinion, I think Holiday World is impressed with how smooth Voyage is with the Timberliners, but I think they are worried about the lack of airtime the train will give throughout the course? I'm not sure how heavy the trains are, but the lighter the trains, the slower it will go during the hills, thus, creating a sort-of mild ride.
  5. Is it fair that B&M designed the same first drop for both Thorpe Park and SFGAm? Probably not... Especially because Thorpe was looking forward to a one of a kind type of first drop. Even though it isn't a THORPE PARK Inversion, I do agree that B&M is to blame! I guess both parks have the same taste in Wing Riders
  6. I have ridden those slides at Great America. I will admit, they were scary the first time I rode them, but I will never go on them again. Mainly because the drop is scarier than any drop tower I have ever been on, and I know what will happen when the floor drops (instant freefall) so I don't mind skipping it. The claustrophobia thing does happen in the capsules, it's very tormenting
  7. I always envisioned a Zac-Spin to be placed at the Mall of America. I'm not sure how tall they are compared to the roof, but they could get a custom one where it'll be able to fit within the building.
  8. Griffon isn't really considered a floorless coaster, it's more considered a Dive Machine. According to RCDB, it's a Dive Machine that is a Floorless. http://rcdb.com/3631.htm
  9. I hope you know, by looping water slide, they mean a horizontal loop.... Like the ones they installed at SFGAm earlier this year.
  10. SFDK already released their concept art for their Sports Bottles next years?!!? Awesome!
  11. Kraken, Superman Krypton Coaster, and Dominator are awesome for their reasons, IMO... Kraken has a really nice ending. Diving in and out of the tunnels, I had no idea where I was going. Superman just has a SUPER nice setting with a pretty wild ride. And Dominator itself has a really fast paced layout, especially with the overbanks. I really liked it! As for the floorlesses I don't know.... Bizarro... Batman - Dark Knight... Boring and didn't offer much.
  12. Well, I think it's called Superman Ultimate Flight because I'm sure some people will be flying out of their seats on the extremely slow barrel roll. Except, I doubt Superman will come to the rescue
  13. X-Flight. It's being placed at my home park, so it's something I plan on riding. Also, it's our last major addition in 2003, so I've very excited for it
  14. Oy, that thing is so stall! I love drop towers and all, but I am so scared of heights. If I were to pee my pants on that thing, it would probably evaporate before it would touch the ground!
  15. 200 feet isn't bad, still an awesome flat ride to their collection!
  16. Damn! This thing looks so awkwardly awesome, it'll probably be on my Roller Coaster Bucket List! Fantastic addition!
  17. Yes!!! Totally worth the wait, 5 inversions?!? Sweet, glad SFGAM is getting something unique! I'll be there opening day to ride it. The Fly-Through looks sick!
  18. Sweet! Sad to see Iron Wolf leave SFGAm, but it looks amazing with that paint job! Hopefully I'll have a chance to ride it next year.
  19. Just be glad it's not being scrapped. Be grateful that you can still ride it at Six Flags America whenever it gets built. Not many people thing it's think it's the greatest ride in the world, and you can tell by the lack of a line Iron Wolf gets.
  20. No, I don't think anyone would guess the name X-Flight for the ride. Thanks for pointing that out! And I'll be sure to be up in the morning to check what the addition is before school Actually, we've known it was X-Flight since Screamscape announced SF had trademarked the name, before the puzzle started. Yeah, sarcasm is hard to do over the inter-webs.
  21. If this was built at any other park, I would have been concerned about the capacity... But not at Dorney! It'll turn out to be a fun addition, even though it's relocated. Generic name, but it still isn't bad. Vibrant colors look nice though
  22. No, I don't think anyone would guess the name X-Flight for the ride. Thanks for pointing that out! And I'll be sure to be up in the morning to check what the addition is before school
  23. Strange that the people in the back look like they just have lapbars, but I still believe it's a Wing Rider!
  24. As I hate to go off-topic, but SFOG seems to have a near round collection of roller coasters. I wouldn't say you guys need something over 150 feet, but you guys do need something to replace the mediocre wooden coasters that you have. Your stand up is fine, and you guys have a nice collection of rides. Great America just needs something like a Wing-Rider due to the gap we had since our last major roller coaster (2003) .
  25. The thing is, Dollywood is advertising it as the "First in the US" probably because they didn't know Six Flags Great America would be getting one. But even if they did know, I'm sure that won't stop Great America from also saying it their Wing Rider "Is the First in the US" because SFGAm is like that. Trust everyone, no one will be disappointed
