Video of the last shot last night should be added to every online dictionary under the definition of "clutch". It's crazy that it had to come down to that, but at least The King answered the bell and delivered when it counted.

TPR's Termination Day! Sunday, June 28th, 2009

I would take that to mean a season pass from any Six Flags park. Would that be correct? -
Seriously? I feel almost exactly the opposite. It's not like the game was the end of the world or anything. Kobe lost the handle on the ball a couple times late in the game, and that's not exactly typical. Despite almost everything possible going wrong in the last minute, they still had the chance to toss up a 3 and try for overtime. Sure, it didn't work out this time, but if you tell me I can have the Lakers and game that's within 3 points with a minute to go, I'll take it every time.

Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride

The queue theming does actually look better than I expected. Are any of the props animated at all? -
The officiating has been pretty typical for the NBA and not nearly as bad as I've seen it get sometimes. I thought the game was called, or not called, as the case may be, pretty close to evenly bad against both teams.

Does it have to be a Magic Mountain season pass, or will any Six Flags season pass work? The date and the 20 bucks are no problem. -
The missed call on the obvious violation on the jump ball was pretty tough to take. Props to Denver for hanging tough and pulling it out at the end though. They fought hard to get back into contention. Both of these first 2 games have been great to watch. It should be a good series going forward.

Is it the crutch?

That was a great game tonight. The clutch shots at the end were epic. I really don't have a dog in this fight, so whichever team wins is fine with me. I just love watching intense close games like that.

I voted for those 2 photos. Good luck. -
I will always have fond memories of the Rose Bowl. I scored tickets to Super Bowl XXVII via an incredibly unlikely method and got to watch the Cowboys eviscerate the Bills. It was one of the best times I ever had with my now dearly departed dad. Good times.

About 1/10 of a second after he threw it, he was thinking, "Doh!"

I'm just going to guess based on a process of elimination. Is it an escapement spring?

That was a pretty sloppy effort at times for the Lakers, but at least they pulled it together when it mattered. The last 5 minutes were great to watch.

The kid may have thought the coaster was "cute" and wanted to give it a hug. Or maybe he never even noticed the coaster train and just thought the track was some new kind of playground apparatus he hadn't seen before. The reasons for his curiosity will never be known, but little kids are naturally curious, and some are more fearless than others.

It's cool that Magic Mountain apparently survives the Apocalypse. -
Been there, done that...

Tatsu is considerably more accommodating than Riddler's or Batman. Scream has seating for larger guests, I believe it's the 4th row. I am a tight squeeze on Batman, requiring assistance from an employee to shove the restraint down far enough to buckle the safety belt. As of WCB '09, I couldn't get the restraint to close sufficiently on Riddler's. I can't think of any other coasters in the park I had any difficulty with because of my size.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Updates

Has the idea of fully enclosing the shed section ever been seriously considered? I think that would be a relatively inexpensive modification that would add a lot to the ride experience. -

Thanks for getting the video Robb! I can't wait to ride it some time next month. -
This is very sad news. Wayman Tisdale was a bright spot on the team during his time here in Sacramento. He was always friendly, approachable, and took time to show the fans and the community that he appreciated them. Every time I hear his name mentioned I always think of his huge smile and friendly nature.
