You could always go during the day But I wanna ride the coasters with their lights off and disco sand blasters! But if the scare sections are mild, I should be okay, I mean they are all actors anyway! Well, in all honesty, you go in with the mindset that its all in the name of good fun, you'd find yourself not caring whether you are scared or not. I get scared easily. In fact, at the end of Dead Man's Bog in Tidal Wave's que last year, there was an employee with a flashlight at the end of the maze, but I stood like an idiot there for a few minutes not entirely sure if she was an actor in the maze or not. Pretty pathetic, but heck, I'd still go in the mazes to get scared and check them out. Plus its funny when people get scared the **** out of them

TPR's China/Japan 2009 Trip!

Its a rhinocerous beetle, although I couldnt tell you what subspecies it is. They are supposed to be the strongest creatures alive, as they lift about 10x more (if I'm right) than their own body weight. In human comparisions, theoretically if I weighed 150lbs and had the strength of a rhinocerous beetle, I could easily lift 1,500 lbs. Used to watch the Discovery Channel/Animal Planet a lot. Kinda sad, but it has its advantages. Anyway, the trip looks great! Cant wait to see Tokyo Disneyland! -
Well let me be the first to clear this up.... SIX FLAGS DOES NOT INTEND TO NOR WILL NOT SELL SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN Indeed they did consider it when Mark Shapiro took over, but as of now he has no intentions of selling it. SFMM just got a brand new wooden coaster and is expected to get a new coaster as well sometime next year. The Hurricane Harbor location next to SFMM is also getting a new slide. Shapiro himself said the park was profitable. Plus its the best contender against Cedar Point for Most Roller Coasters record, which is not something they necessarily need but certainly would like to have. So Six Flags wont sell it, there is no reason why Six Flags would. As for the 2010 season passes, they are on sale, its just not advertised online unlike the "Buy Your Ticket Online for Just 54.99" deal.

^If anything, even though its not the best theme park, it sets a stanard of sorts for roller coasters. Whatever it is that makes a ride different generally makes it a much more enjoyable experience. Tatsu's custom layout, X2's and Terminator's onboard audio and fire effects to name a few obvious examples. Plus, the park has made quite a history for the theme park industry. It was really Superman: The Escape that gave rise to Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka. Revolution of course had the first vertical loop, X2 was the first of its kind (as X), etc.

I think that's more of a time-wise concern. Like with Terminator, they would've probably had some special passholder event but due to the time constraints they had with the ride's opening, they decided not to organize one. They had one for X of course because it was such a radically new ride and a prototype for what will hopefully turn out to be a successful line of thrilling coasters in the future. There might only be two in the entire world, but its gotta start somewhere!

X2 needs...no...it DESERVES the title Holy Rail: http://www.facebook.com/sixflags?v=app_90891003784 on an un-SFMM related note, I cant believe how Le Monstre managed to topple two of the best coasters in the world. I know Le Monstre is a favorite of the Canadians, which is cool and all, but still. May X2 avenge his fallen SF coaster brothers...

I love the layout. Looks like a mix of Nitro and Behemoth
