My first thought was something for Halloween, But I think that's too far off. I can't wait to see what it is!

NYC is a very low lying area. A simple Tropical Storm is enough to flood some areas.

I don't think that is a good Idea. Theme Parks could make a lot of money for the area by bringing tourism.

In my opinion, They need to just tear the stupid thing down. Even if it does re-open, It's just going to fail after a few months.

Is the observation tower at Luna Park open? I don't remember ever seeing it open under Astroland.

Personally, I think Tokyo Disney resort destroys all the other Disney parks. The theming is incredible and the rides are cool! And it's in Japan, Which makes it awesome in the first place. Plus, you don't have to worry about stupid people and "French crushing" you see in other parks around the world!

Keep in mind, we are a city of 2+ million people. If a park is built off-strip, there is the chance of a local market. The real problem is that locals don't go to the strip that often.

I have to agree with the first post and say TREADS. I'm American and I saw it 3 years ago. the movie gave me a stomach ache and I had trouble sleeping for 3 days because I thought missiles were coming.
