  1. Put simply: No. The POV makes the ride look a lot slower than it actually feels, the ride is actually pretty fast and doesnt really let up, plus the ending hops give some good airtime. Along with that, the POV also doesn't do the views justice from the top of the lift, and the top of the turn around hill. The views of the lake are much larger and truely beautiful. One of the best views I've seen on a coaster before.
  2. Like I said earlier, last I heard from Paul Nelson was that "The man who is in charge of programming the ride system for 2-train operation is sick and hasn't gotten to programming the ride's computer to run 2 trains simultaneously."
  3. The coaster is not rough at all, but does have points where it throws your laterally, none of which hurt at all. The point where it throws you most is coming off the bridge right after the first drop, it does a quick shuffle to the right before the turn. Rode again today, the loading times were really quick and under a minute between cycles. Full queue was around 25 minutes or so. The ride is intense, but not rough in the least, and now as it feels like it's starting to break in it feels even faster and smoother.
  4. Just got back from the park again, took a small trip up to see the fireworks with my girl and even with an almost full queue at 8:30ish it was only about a 30-40 minute wait. The time between trains went down to about a minute. The ride is still my favorite woodie... I really wish I would have been in town to participate in the video shoot, but I was in Myrtle this past week. As for the 2 train operation, per Paul Nelson, the ride hasn't been programmed yet for two train operation, and the person who is in charge of handling this is sick at the moment. That is all that is known / let known by management about 2 train operation.
  5. Front seat is amazing. The coaster is very fast, and the POV does not do the ride justice in terms of height. The bridge gives some good airtime, as does the drop back over the road and the bunny hops. The trackwork was not at all what it looked like in the POV (distortion wise), it was extremely smooth. Only one criticism that would make this day even better... if they would send out trains more than every five minutes. Literally from stop in the station, to go, was five minutes in-between runs, and the blue train was parked in transfer. Overall an extremely fun and enjoyable ride... A++ for Waldameer and Gravity Group. While I've never ridden Voyage or Hades I can say that this baby has some good airtime even in the front seat, and tracks very smoothly. A very, very good ride... worth the long construction wait for it.
  6. I'll be up there... heading up now actually. If anyone is there, I'll be in a blue t-shirt taking photos...
  7. I think it's just the video. I noticed that some of the track looked "warped" in that video. Not sure why. --Robb The only real spot that concerns me, from the Reverse POV that was posted compared to the actual POV is the hop and turn into the 90 degree turn, it seems to be rather unbanked and on the Reverse it shows people thrown into their sides, although must not be that bad, because there wasn't any grimaces on the riders face.
