All of this news is fantastic for CGA. Ever since I heard about the rumored hyper a few years back and now being in a plan to actually get built (eventually). I've always pictured a carowinds intimidator but without the weird seating and have the 4 across instead.

I think it's very possible for CGA to go year round, this could have been a test both as a prototype for WF but to see how crowds would also be for winter. So who knows, we could go year round next year or within the next few years.

I'm going for sure, I'm always up for a good commercial shoot. Plus, they have food.

I believe that the hyper could possibly use the backstage road for the lift, where greezed lightning use to be. But drop over the midway and go out into the parking lot and come back.

Currently at winterfest and a nice surprise to see was that GS is running two trains. It's also pretty dead.

Or why not do what Alton Towers did, they kept the corkscrews after getting rid of the ride. So why can't CP do the same. Edit: Post #1000!!!

With how fast they got it all painted and with all that they have left to do, I would be surprised if it wasn't ready for opening day. All I'm hoping for is if they do a promotional shoot like they did with Gold Striker.

I've been on this tram in Spain at Fuente De. Northern coast.

I haven't don't HITP in awhile but I do remember it. But I may be biased on this opinion, as CGA is my home park. But from everything that saw last night and what I did, I'd say it was better on a lot of aspects and details. I'll probably have a better answer next week when I see more shows and taste the seasonal foods. Meanwhile, I'll leave you guys with this "Elfie" as Jack Frost said as he was walking by.

Well I'm in line for Gold Striker right now, its on one train op but it totally makes sense. Not sure about Flight Deck, but I'll for sure post another update once I'm home.

Yeah, I'm at the park right now. I'm loving it all so far.

I was just at work yesterday and one of the contractors fir winterfest came in. I asked if he could say anything, but alas he only said whatever is on the site or that you can see is all I can tell you. Other than that, it'll be awesome. ^^And yes, I'm probably gonna buy two of them. One for me and the other for my gf, we need travel cups badly.

Ever since I heard about winter fest for CGA, I've been looking forward to it a lot. I can't wait to see all the decorations up in the park. As much as it was awkward to see some during haunt, I can't wait to see the full event. I'll always support the park as it will be my home park. I can't wait for the ice skating, it'll make for some awesome pictures in front of the carousel.

I second this, I was at CGA the other day waiting in line for cornstalkers and a kid lost control of it and nearly hit my gf in the face. I just turned around and said,"watch what you're doing with that f*#%ing thing." I was half tempted to catch it and just buck it over at grizzly.
