  1. ^ Also would look nice flying over a path at CGA as well.
  2. To add more info as to when the meeting is, we already know it's the 5th of July, I believe it's the architectural committee meeting that starts at 7pm. Could always drop by and see if it'll be open to the public.
  3. I wasn't trying to complain about capacity as much as it came off that way, but either way whatever we get should be fine since we're a smaller park than most parks in the chain.
  4. I hate low capacity as much as anyone else does on here, but why not have like two or three smaller trains so that it'll be easier to push trains out and possibly boost capacity.
  5. ^ But even then before the announcements of track were to appear on site hen we could confirm what company it may be.
  6. If it's open to the public, I'm sure that I'd be able to make it depending on what time it starts. ^Who knows where it went, I mean I know for a fact that construction walls are due to go up in early to mid July. I'd be surprised if we got the raptor but I'd be BLOWN AWAY if we got the worlds first T-Rex.
  7. Either way it shouldn't be that bad, with or without FL you're able to do the whole park in a day easily.
  8. 1-CGA-about 8 miles 2-SCBB-30 miles 3-SFDK-about 75 I'll also throw in Happy Hollow since he have a coaster, albeit a small one about 2 miles from me.
  9. It looks like it could fit the bill, especially with the height it has. But I'm still willing to bet that we may be getting the prototype or something just as good.
  10. ^ That's like saying can I still call flight deck top gun.
  11. I'd call it cruel and unusual punishment if we got boom, of course they could just use it for death penalty for the state of CA.
  12. It sounds more like they've got the go ahead to design/practice, at least that's a what the meaning of archictural is in the filing.
  13. Boomerang is 116.5 feet. What is the height limit for CGA? The height limit was just increased to 250ft over the middle of the park while the sides are still fairly low. (Can't remember the height for that)
  14. Nope That graphic right there is exactly why I think Knott's gets the innovative cool new hotness. CGA still has a long way to go before it's earned such a distinction. But still, that's just a graph. Yes, it shows that some parks bring in more money than others. But, who's to say that they're not trying to make CGA a better park. They've been throwing a lot of money in our general direction in recent years. So why can't it be CGA getting the new hotness, I mean there's already a filing for Putting in a 100' coaster at CGA.
  15. So what if we've had it all backwards this entire time, speculating that KBF would get another first of its kind when it could be CGA. Also, just because the picture of an impulse on the master plan doesn't necessarily mean we'd be getting an impulse.
  16. And a GTX or Mega Lite could easily fit, albeit it would have to be slightly customized but it would be a first of its kind on the west coast.
  17. ^ Or if it's even an impulse at all. It could be a variety of anything.
  18. Or what about that weird intamin shuttle type in China or Japan? Forward launch, backwards, and then forwards into the non-inverting loop. Found it:
  19. Just recently at CGA, I took my friends on GS for the first time. They think it's like grizzly and I tell them that's where they're very wrong. We get on and we're sitting in the from row, as we get to the top and he sees the track essentially disappearing below him as it gets steeper, and all he can say is,"Oh my god, HOLY $H!+!!" I was dying of laughter the entire ride.
  20. I second this as CGA is my home park as well. Helps to have the season long fast lane pass so I can just marathon it.
  21. At the park again getting more pictures of the RW&B event. I'm back and I got the pictures, this time I got to try out some more of the food as well as more beer. They also had a deal goin on where when you get your tasting card fully punched, you get a free ride on the brew bike.
