  1. I went to Time Zone/Puriland/Dunia Fantasi/Taman Safari Indonesia(Bogor)/Kota Fantasi/Wonderia/Trans Studio Makassar/Taman Remaja/Taman Safari Indonesia(Prigen)/Jawa Timur Park 1/Batu Night Spectacular and Wisata Bahari Lamongan. Dunia Fantasi, really is nice park indeed. Why don't you do a report for the park index, i'm pretty sure as your living in Bekasi you must have been to Dunia Fantasi If you don't do it, i'll do one when i have some spare time.
  2. stripgear, Would you have any photos of the coaster at Grand Mall Bekasi? Also do you know if the coaster was moved to another park or was it demolished? Lastly what was the name of the mini theme park in Grand Mall Bekasi? Sorry so many questions but the information would be very useful thanks.
  3. Our trip to Indonesia was based around this very rare wooden mouse coaster. The mood was slightly down when we were heading towards this evening/night only park. We had visiting Java Timur park 1 in the afternoon. It just started to rain when we arrived at the park, hence we couldn't ride the powered dragon coaster there. Would they run the jewel of the trip for us in the rain, questions were running wildly in our heads? We only had one opportunity to ride this coaster as we were flying back next day. We made it to the park, fingers crossed hoping for the best...................what happened next was amazing, we shouldn't have been worried at all. We were treated like royalties. Not only did the park run the coaster for us they let us walk the lift hill and climb all over the coaster. They allowed us to take onride photos and video. All this was done with permission and supervision of the ride manager. We would like to thank the ride manager and park for offering us these special treats. So Wooden Mouse number Four.... Wild Mouse at Batu Night Spectacular,East Java, Indonesia 1)Wild Mouse at Luna Park Sydney 2)Wild Mouse at Aussie World 3)Wild Mouse at Blackpool pleasure Beach 4)Wild Mouse at Batu Night Spectacular
  4. Wooden Wild Mouse number three, probably the the most famous one in the set.... Wild Mouse at Pleasure Beach, Blackpool 1)Wild Mouse at Luna Park Sydney 2)Wild Mouse at Aussie World 3)Wild Mouse at Blackpool pleasure Beach

  6. Indonesia was hard work but immensely rewarding in the end as George has mentioned. The logistic of trying to fit so many flights in one trip is a recipe for disaster but all worked well for us in the end. Back to topic and lets try to complete the wooden mouse coaster set. The second Wooden Mouse coaster in the world, also known by most of us by now is, the Wild Mouse at Aussie World. Another superb coaster that the TPR Australian trip participants enjoyed recently. 1)Wild Mouse at Luna Park Sydney 2)Wild Mouse at Aussie World How many more to go????
  7. Been told by George to reveal the identity of the first of 3/4/???? WOODEN MOUSE COASTERS in the world. Number one) As we all know by now is the Wild Mouse at Luna Park, Sydney Nice park, great little coaster and a superb day was spent there recently by TPR. A few photos below. Keep the detective work up guys, and lets see how many wooden mouse coasters in the world we can find More would be revealed by George soon......
  8. Stripgear, Thanks for the update and please keep us updated on future progress of this project. I was there myself on 5th April 2011. Major work was still being carried out. Seeing the work still left i don't think Trans Studio will have a soft opening in June. I'll post some construction photos from my trip here. Kota Fantasi was having loads of work done too, and only a handful of rides were open. Luckily for us the roller coaster was running. They were bringing in loads of new rides due to the strong competition they will be getting from Trans Studio soon. New Tran Studio with the premier coaster going up. coaster columns. Coaster porn at it's best. Coaster going up. Loads of work still left. Construction photos.... More construction.... Loads of opening soon posters about in the shopping mall. whole wall poster. Even with over half the park closed there were people about.

  14. Guys The location of the new park (Trans Studio) is in a shopping centre which already has a indoor park. http://www.rcdb.com/5631.htm Does anyone know if this is a completely new park in another area of the mall or if Trans Studio would replace Kota Fantasi which already has a coaster? Also any idea when Trans Studio and it's Premier rides coaster are planning to open? Cheers

Got a couple more updates left from this trip including more alpine coasters and more Butterflies and my favorite Austrian park.... Märchenpark Neusiedlersee so keep tuned. More updates tommorow. Looks like the little track thing with the red edges is used to go down in a rubber ring.
  21. The manufacturer is Heege Freizeittechnik. http://www.heege-freizeittechnik.de/open/action/products/menu/11/M/KMHYLw
  22. Next morning we went to a park that was not even on Rcdb. The coaster as you might have guessed is a Butterfly. The worlds best themed Butterfly. Märchenpark Steiermark is a small children park based on fairy tale stories. Park sign. Park entrance. Hello everyone. The Butterfly track can be seen on the right side of the castle building which has the queue line as well. The Butterfly track can be seen on both side behinnd the castle. The Butterfly. In action. The worlds best themed Butterfly unless someone can prove me wrong. The wooded area is the fairytale land. Similar to the Efteling fairytale area but on a much smaller scale. Even i know this one...Red Riding Hood. Mystery door. The bid bad wolf. Flintstones car. They even have goats. The entry exit gift shop. Bye bye Märchenpark Steiermark.
  23. Looks like it might be a run for tubing in the winter??? Does the alpine coaster run in the winter? In your photo it looks like there is a picture of someone riding it in the winter, but it seems like it would be incredibly difficult to keep clear of snow. Also - does it go down an actual ski run? Sorry to bombard you with questions - but do you pay for the lift up as well as the coaster ride? I work at a ski resort in Montana, and I'm particularly interested in these alpine coasters. My resort has done a LOT in the past two summers to vamp up activities offered and I would love to see an alpine coaster here! You could be right it might be run for tubing. The Wiegand model does run in the snow. The Braso model on the other hand does not operate even if it rains lightly. Yes you have pay for the lift going up but get a discount if you get a combo, lift up coaster down. Go for a Wiegand model. Great fun and would be a really good investment for your resort. Perfect way to get people in during the summer season.
  24. As i said the place was closed when we arrived and were really lucky to get a ride on the alpine coaster. I myself would like to know what it is so anyone reading this can let us know. Thanks
