Delirium, I've heard the same thing...

Stopped by the park this afternoon for about an hour and caught 7 cycles. The construction walls from under the first drop and all the way around the layout to the midcourse have been taken down. You can really get a great idea of everything now that these are gone. This ride is going to be VERY photogenic. The landscaping and pathway work they have done under and around the ride is very, very nice. The pathway beween the pizza restaurant and the first drop is now open, but was barricaded off while I was there due to the testing. They are beginning work on new footer rocks in the splashdown ocean, as well as beginning to place new rocks in the actual ocean. The waterfall entry rockwork is really coming along, as is the rock work on the station. I was told today that they were testing variable speeds on the lift hill. From my observations, the train is really booking it at the bottom of the pretzel loop. Anyway, here are a few photos taken today from new angles that haven't been possible since testing began. Don't feel too bad...That was the 5th time I've been since the trains were put on, and only the first time that I've actually seen it run. Glad I finally got to see it go!

Probably was LOL. Tall dude, red/white shirt. My pictures in my avatar. The ride looks really nice running. The train flies thru the pretzel loop and kinda crawls through the zero-g roll. The first corkscrew is taken pretty quick, and the second half was kinda sluggish. They weren't running with water dummies, either.

I know they've been testing. I just also knew that you didn't see it while we were at Aquatica. Here are a couple more from today showing off work on the waterfall area, rock work on the station and the "ocean" filled in.

Was out at the park today and caught 5 cycles...Three from the parking lot as I was leaving (and then re-parked and went back in) and two cycles while in the park. That's around the times I've been going. Tuesday I was there from 5-7pm and nothing. Yesterday I was there from about 4:00-5:30 also. Guess I just have bad luck.

The ocean seems to be completely dug out, and the rock work at the entrance (the "waterfall") is really coming along. I've been out to the park 2-3 times this week (and Aquatica) and have yet to see it test, but did notice one of the trains in the station on Tuesday. The entire area is going to look amazing once complete.

Drove by the track storage area yesterday and there were about 5 pieces there, including two arched pieces that look to be the top of the lift hill, as well a couple straight pieces. Unfortunate news if true regarding possible changes.

Nice find, hatetofly. Checked the Sentinel earlier and couldn't find anything. None of the broadcasts showed that much detail. That Zero Car looks huge...

Here are a couple screen grabs from my Blackberry Bold...The color is off a bit, they're definitely more purple than they appear. The other news broadcast had better footage.

Channel 9 Orlando just showed a brief glimpse at the trains on their 5pm news. They're a very deep purple with white accents. Look like standard flyer trains, but with upward curved wings on the outsides of each row. The front of the train has a Zero-Car, as well. 6pm news will be showing them on a different channel, so I'll try to get a picture with my phone when it comes on.

To get this back on track, I just saw on the news here in Orlando that SeaWorld plans on revealing Manta's trains today. I could have misheard what was said, but I'm fairly certain that's what was said. Perhaps I'll head out to the park later and check it out.

I think they should just leave the clearances like they are now...Could be fun.

Memorial Day opening...

Just going off what I saw on weather.com earlier. If I'm wrong, blame them...Not me.

So the forecast for this weekend just got interesting. Expected thunderstorms on Saturday. Sunday? Highs in the low 40's and snow showers....

This coaster looks amazing. Are there any animations out there for it? Too bad it's in China, will probably never get to ride it.
