I enjoyed that ride, and it is my cousins, well was, his favorite ride at the park I don't think he knows that Six Flags Great America still has theirs, or he would probably try to find a way there, I will have to tell him -

It would be in July, but we may try to put it off untill later in the season, so we don't run into the crowds Plans are far from finalized I rode Deja Vu at Paramounts great america, and although I may be lynched for saying this, I enjoyed the ride -
WHo would ride the Crystal Beach Cyclone
crispy replied to crispy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Do you think the ride would be more tolerable with over the shoulder restraints, or what if they made it in steel form? -
I don't have a problem with anyone believing anything that differs from me, That why this country was founded I think the best way to share your beliefs is to first respect other people's beliefs

Well, I'm having the same withdrawls Used to live near the SCBB, and any weekend could go and ride the giant dipper Anyway, looks like(hopefully) if we make it this year we will have a decent time at SFMM Is the ninja closed often?, I think my just 42" daughter would really enjoy that ride -
^^^^ Thisn is not the place for this debate AT ALL, lets get back on topic and just state what we believe, without any refrence to it being contrary to other people beliefs WHOA, for the two post above dsneygirlz2s

I just found this interview from a person who actually rode the coaster BTW this is from Coasterglobe.com -
 Who here would ride the crystal beach cyclone. Say some super rich crazy man rebuilt the ride, would you travel to ride it, and would you rather have modern restraints to try to control the extreme g's, or just a lap bar and a seatbelt? Here is a description from the Coaster Force Website And here is a picture if the first drop I would really want to try it out, but in this case, some good OTSR wouldn't be such a bad idea

well, like i said probably wrong, and like I said, I don't see a reason a tiny park needs a ski lift ride -

I never did understand why a park that SMALL would need a ski lift ride anyway, now the SCBB which is a basically a very long strip, the ride makes perfect sense. I believe the ride was taken down because of the Rattler, but I'm probably wrong -
I agree, my friends and I had more fun with James Bond for N46 than any first person shooter ever, we would play against each other, and it was a total blast

They NEED to buy out the wherehouses that surround the park and expand -
you could alway have an option to turn it off. I really think money wise it should be refined, Addind a coaster for any park is a huge financial undertaking, even a small coaster, for example Lets Use Cliff's Amusment Park the averaged (before NM Rattler) 200,000 people per year, and the entrance fee was $20 for all day pass, 2.50 to just get in, and you could buy tickets lets give them the benifit of the doubt and say all 200,000 bought all-day passes, $20 x 200,000 = $4,000,000 Seems like a TON of money, but you have all those employees and ride upkeep, then to add a 2,000,000 coaster is a very big deal, and that is VERY cheap for a coaster There is no way a small park can afford any of the big steel coaters, and I don't see why this kind of financial restraint is not in the game, if I set up a basic custom senerio, I have to put the park in MAJOR debt and raise the intrest to about 30% before it is a challenge. A park should grow, but it should be gradual Biggest thing, is use real manufactures, heck they might even design some rides for the games, its free advertisement, unless thier rides suck i guess anyway, there is room on the simulation side to improve ALOT, lets hope the implement some ideas, or we could just bug Robb to have the company he works for make a theme park sim

Well my concern was first I didn't ride the Coyote Howl last year, and this year they completly removed any mention of it from thier site Cliff's park has upgraded, but the website is HORRIBLE So I was happey to see the top of the howl as I drove by the other day, I just hope they didn't get rid of any of the classic flat rides for the Musik Express -
Christian used to be alot stronger, but have not been to church in a while, back in california I was the Worship Leader at my church, but since I moved to Albuquerque, I only visited a few churches

How Old Are You & What Was Your 1st Coaster?
crispy replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If you are adding the first looping coaster, that would be the demon at paramount (at the time marriots) Great America I have ridden it many times and currently I would say it bores me -
Have you ever ridden the Coney Island Cyclone? I don't see Astroland in the Photo section, so I was wondering, also, is the coaster as good as everyone says, and is it worth the trip from NM to NY Thanks in advance

^^^, the joys of getting older I used to play all the time, now my ps2 sits near the TV dissconnected, waiting for me to get around to picking up Gran Tourismo 4, and San Andres. The Xbox is connected, but is used more for a DVD player than a video game player, my 5-year old is really the only one who plays many games on it. I still play games, put in some good time with NFL 2K5, and will get a baseball game, but my hardcore days are very much so done
