  1. Boo.... Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Congrats to all of you who found 7 ducks. As for me.... EPIC FAIL.
  2. HA! This is out of control I could keep typing to God forever.
  3. I'm not going to be there, but last Saturday really wasn't too crowded. I mean, it was busy, but it was also freezing cold, so the lines were fairly reasonable... especially at night. Just wear a whole lot of clothes. And maybe a ski mask.
  4. I was there that day, but I missed this. I did get to see a couple of rollbacks though...one happened while we were in the station waiting to load, so that was pretty rad.
  5. Drunken puking is easy. It is the painful, for real , sick sober puking that is terrifying. Even more horrible and nightmarish than that is the public puke.
  6. I agree completely. Mayonnaise is pure evil. I actually feel kind of bad for other foodstuffs that come into contact with it, because I know they will never have the chance to be as delicious as they could have before mayo application. I won't even eat some concoction called "Veganaise" that my husband buys. Even though it is just some sort of soy mess, it is still made in the image of mayo...and that is unacceptable.
  7. Wow. I always thought I was really strange, but I feel a little better now knowing I am not the only one afraid of throwing up. I hyperventilate and shake uncontrollably if I think I am going to. I'd honestly rather feel awful than throw up and feel better. I also am scared to death of mayonnaise. I make the people at Subway use a new knife because I don't want my food to have any sort of mayo cross contamination. I can't even watch people eat something that I know has mayo on it.
  8. Um, great job Mike? I am kidding, of course. I do wish I would have seen this post yesterday though. You could have been saved on my TiVo until the end of time. I guess you'll just have to settle with the public arena of the internet instead.
  9. Sweet merciful crap, I can't believe I made it to round 3. I was really, really starting to doubt my answer. Minutes of my life were spent looking at that light/duck. Minutes. I love that. I do the same thing in pictures, because the chances of me looking dorky far exceed the chances of me not looking dorky.
  10. Oh, the questionable #7. I struggled with that one too, and ultimately decided that it wasn't a duckie. Mike, you've created a hanging chad of sorts. A pond floater, if you will (I still can't deal with that).
  11. I found 9 duckies... and the phrase "pond floaters", which made me laugh probably more than it should have.
  12. Yes! BYOB Kenobi. United States of Whatever. Llama School. Precious Roy. Great stuff! I wish the show never got cancelled. Although, they made some more shows, it seemed to lose the momentum that the first season had. I love love LOVE Sifl and Olly. It was on during my freshman year of college, and my roommate and I would watch and tape it every night. I came across one of the tapes pretty recently, and it had Deuce Loosely (the Panda) and Rock'n'Roll Friends on it. I love the clapping baby doll hands.
  13. So STR8FXXXINEDGE, not only am I a coaster enthusiast, but I am also a tattoo enthusiast... especially sweet traditional style tattoos. I love your coaster tattoo (ok...so I might be a MySpace stalker). Anyway, awesome TR. If I can ever get through these dang Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania parks, I will eventually start making my way to the more northerly parts of the country.
  14. Firehawk at King's Island isn't too terrible, and Sidewinder at Hersheypark only hurt me a little bit.
  15. I took my very first trip to Hersheypark this past Sunday and Monday. We got two rides on Fahrenheit, and to be honest, I was a bit let down after the first ride on Sunday night. The lift and first drop were crazy, but it was just kind of "meh" after that. We weren't going to ride again, but sometimes it takes a couple of rides to really "get" it, if that makes any sense. I am glad we decided to give ol' Fahrenheit a second chance though, because we really enjoyed our second ride on Monday night. Also, I could not get enough of watching the people in line freak out every time the train went up the lift.
  16. Yippee! I just got back from an awesome 2 days at Hersheypark, to find out that I made it to ducky count round 2! Also, thanks to Big Mike and his fantastically entertaining road show reports for giving me something to look forward to during my loooong, boooorrrrring days at work. You rock, Mike!
  17. Great TR so far! I love extensive Orlando reports. Can't wait for the next installment.
  18. 0% representing! I am a vegan. Meat and dairy gross me out to the core.
  19. I'm driving to Winston-Salem, NC for the Heavy Rebel Weekend, at which I will consume retarded amounts of beer, watch lots of bands, and check out some sweet hot rods. YAY AMERICA!
  20. Yes! A few miles from my town, in Barboursville WV, is a Billy Bob's Wonderland and they have the Rock-afire Explosion Band. They are a little long in the tooth and worse for wear, but at least I have somewhere nearby to get my Mitzi Mozzarella fix. Sometimes living in a small, crappy town has its perks.
  21. I've been a vegetarian for about 5 years, and a vegan for 2 of those. Honestly, I stopped eating meat because it was easy. My husband has been a vegan for 10 years, and he lost 100+ pounds by cutting out all meat, dairy, eggs, etc. from his diet. It was just so easy for me to not eat meat, because it was just never in our fridge. As for eggs and dairy, for as long as I can remember, they have totally grossed me out. I have never loved cheese, ice cream, cake, or any of those things. The thought of drinking a glass of milk makes me gag. This is totally shocking to some people. When I express my distaste for chocolate, I usually hear things like "you're just not human" or "what's wrong with you". It was just an easy transition for me from vegetarianism to veganism. I love LOVE LOVE animals, and when I started looking into the horrible things that animals are put through to become a burger or a meat strip of some sort, it became a morality issue for me, as well as a lifestyle change. I am not ever going to look down on somebody for eating a meat or putting cheese on their pizza though. It is all personal choice. All I wish for is for people to stop asking me "what do you eat".
  22. I can deal with a rough coaster, but Son of Beast is the most pain-inducing coaster I think I have ever had the displeasure of riding.
