OK, I MUST ride this thing. That thing looks absolutely amazing! I love woodies and have yet to really go on any outside of California or Cedar Point. I love Ghostrider in its prime, I still do. But i must ride these Intamin pieces of art! El Toro, Balder, and T-Express, I will have you some day!

WOOT! Woodies are my favorite! Rough smooth whatever, only woodie that has ever hurt for me was one of the drops on Psyclone. Im really excited! I will definitely participate in some kind of camp out or event for it if there is one! X2's camp out was a blast! If they are building it in Psyclone's old spot i bet many or the GP wouldn't even know it was new after it is open for a few months. Probably still call it Psyclone.

Looks crazy, I would ride it. It makes me miss the Bombay at Wet n Wild Las Vegas. RIP

^It is all mixed, which they did a great job in doing. That would be interesting though, one train playing Frank Sinatra the whole ride, almost erie, slow mellow music while your getting tossed around in every which direction.

Worth every penny! I had an amazing time! As they have recently they went above and beyond on what i expected. The night ERT was the most fun i have ever had. X2 as night was so awesome. I got 9 rides at night, I wanted more! Then we went to cyber cafe and they had free dough nuts, cookies, coffee, and drinks for us as well as the computers. That was really nice! Thank god i had a nice warm sleeping bad, it was REALLY cold, but the awesome breakfast they had set up for us was so good! Beyond what i thought i was going to get. They had trouble getting the ride running in the morning, which wasn't a big deal to me, i didn't mind at all. We just had gotten 90 minutes the night before! already more than promised with my $50. I got 2 rides before the mob came up the hill to ride. This one blew my mind, our little red dragon wrist bands were good to go up the flash pass line ALL DAY! With them grouping in the station we were making it on every 3rd or 4th train! So pretty much they gave us ALL DAY ERT on the ride. People in line were jealous, I would be too! All in all i got 25 rides and i was done! X2 was AMAZING rode great for the most part, had only 2 'bad' rides which were still better than the old X. It was as smooth as your going to get with how aggresive the ride is. There is no way it could be any better with all the weight thats going around the tracks. The audio made the ride for me, every choice of music fit great. I especially loved the "Gooooiiinngg doown" part. Also the 'everybody in' thing was cool, along with the 'X2' being repeated im sure it got people pumped up to ride it. The fire was also very good. After riding 20 times i got a ride with no audio and it was amazing how much better it is with it. They took the train with the audio problems off pretty fast. 20 minutes in all after having to cycle the ride empty a few times. Dispatch times were impressive, im sure if people got off faster we would have seen an empty station quite often. I know some of the times when i was riding going over the transfer track i could hear the other train start to go up the lift. The line looked great! The videos they had people doing crazy stuff and getting hurt was getting some good reactions. I didn't get much chance to see it all, but on my next visit when i gotta wait i sure will. The wait was about 3 hours for it being all the way down the bridge is not bad! Every train of riders were very excited when they got back, no bad complaints. Im sure they all forgot about waiting the 3 hours for it. I couldn't ask for anything more, i could write on for hours on how much good stuff i saw yesterday. Thank you MM and everyone involved! Especially the employees that worked lat and extra time for us, they all were smiling the whole time! Good to see! Even after riding 25 times, i cant wait to go back and ride it again! All the people complaining about $50 being to much you missed out BIG TIME

^^ There was 3 of them selling pizza around lunch time. Another thing i noticed was the security guards watching over the line, it was great. If someone needed to use the restroom the guards would give out a pass so they could go then when they came back go up the flash pass line and meet back with their party. I thought that was pretty cool.

Thanks for your help, um probably going to do the same thing. Im leaving here in corona at 6:30 so if there isnt bad traffic i should get to the park at 7:30-8 I'll probably do the same thing, leave my stuff in the car. Viper has been running good, at least for me!

I am just leaving my house from Carlsbad! Hopefully the holiday weekend traffic isn't too bad. I'm making a stop in corona at least ill bypass the bad part of the 5. Mr. Stratosphere. Are they letting us bring in our stuff and set it in the picnic area before 10? I plan on coming down to the park and riding a few before the night is over.

I was thinking about this while they were doing the update and when they talked about not using the unload station. Why don't they still use the unload station but after the seats rotate to unload they stay in the "unload" positiong and advance to the load section, that takes away 2 times the seats have to rotate. There is not mechanical crap coming out of the floor to unlock the restraints anymore so those bars that stuck out of them wouldn't drag on the ground. I think it would be easy to do, just reposition the "X" rail in between the unload and load sections and your good to go. This would work great with 3 train op. ^ I did it that way a couple years ago and they sent it in the mail. I think i had the option of choosing if i wanted to do it at the park too. But they will only send it through the mail if you had a pass the year before, you will have to go to the park if its 2 years or older. I'm not sure if they still do it though, i don't see why they wouldn't. See you at the camp out! Aaron

I rarely get a chance to go to Magic Mountain anymore because of my job and i moved down to San Diego so its a bit of a drive. Thats another reason why i am going. I only go 2 times a year so thats only 2 rides on X with the long lines. So this will be worth it for me! Another plus I'm seeing that not many people want to fork out $50. Means less people, if there is only 50-60 people that would be ideal! 2 trains op we would never have to get off but to switch seats. But I'm sure there will be more people. I can dream of getting 10-15 rides on it in an hour. That would be great! Although i want there to be a good turnout for MM sake. We'll see, I'm going to have a great time no matter what!

Oh i know, i was just saying anyone can go. And why there is no 'special deal' for season pass holders. I think this is already a special deal!

^^ This event isn't something just for us. It's for the GP too, if they hear about it. When i called in to buy my ticket they asked nothing on where i heard or needed anything special. Thats probably why there is no discount. It is on the Six Flags website. Im happy to pay $50 to get a couple rides on it. I mean I paid $100 plus to get on Xcelerator and Silver Bullet at Knotts for only one ride! Even though that was for charity which was awesome. This is a good deal to me! I'm sure they will have it running on time for us, my guess is they are under-promising and going to over deliver. It might say nine but they might try to have it running at 8 leaving the extra time for problems. I just cant wait to be woken by the sound of the train cresting the lift hill. What a way to wake up! I will be going, I just called in and signed up. I'll be a loner at this event though, None of my friends are crazy for coasters like i am, at least enough to spend the night at the place and spend $50 anyways. So someone talk to me, I was at WCB. Ive been waiting for something like this since the Bash! I cant wait! I fell in love with X when it opened and have been fiending to ride it again. I can't get enough of it. I'm excited!

That would be the highlight of the event for me! If you've never had a double double off one of their trucks you are missing out, don't know what it is but it blows away one you've ever had.

I got my season pass processed at the park yesterday, as said before the coupon books are in, they are also giving out one flash pass for when X2 opens up. I was lucky and found a few on the ground around the park. I don't have the book on me right now, but ill post the coupons that are in it when I get home from work if no one gets to it before I do. Me and a friend will be attending, my first enthusiast event other than the Xcelerator and Silver bullet auctions I participated at Knott's in if you count those. Very excited about this event, cant wait to meet some people from here. *first post from me*
