I miss Magic Carpet Golf in Lake Tahoe so bad. That place was awesome! I went there as a kid so much. I always remember them adding holes making it about 21 holes then splitting it to 2 courses. I saw this thread and I knew I had to add it to the list, But when I looked it was already there. Awesome someone thinks the same about it. The Slide at the little amusement part next door was amazing to on the days they'd give you wax paper to go down with under your carpet. Oh man so many childhood memories there in So. Tahoe.

Amazing the line is 490 people long and I see the same people in it sometimes! I've never gotten kicked or disconnected from the line.

I know its a buff for the design firm, Still a cool way to advertise and spread the word. I'm sure the bang for the buck on this is a lot better than traditional advertising. I just like they aren't pushing their firm or a pop up or something about them or someone else.

Love how they are constantly trying to improve the game and make it more user friendly. Instead of just doing something half assed, put up and let it go style, just for publicity. Not that I'd have a problem with that, they didn't have to do this in the first place. Top it off with no ads! Didn't know something like this would ever get made without being bombarded by advertising, let alone be this level of quality! Kudos to them for sure! Go buy a shirt!

^ Just got in line to check it out. It is quite a bit faster, probably will lead to shorter waits. I know all the times when I played I didn't have less than 10 seconds left on the timer, the one time I did win I had 30 seconds left, and that's only because it took so long to get across the machine to what I was going for.

I do 2 browser windows when I try to get in line, go back and forth clicking "try again" while the cool down time goes by. Took me less than 5 minutes each time I've done it this way. I finally won the last time I played it yesterday afternoon! Won a giant pink ball.

Just went about 10 minutes ago and got lucky! Right before I went a guy threw in a couple clear balls with presents, one right in the middle begging me to pick it up. So it's my turn and for some reason the top down camera wouldn't connect or wasn't working. So I had to use the side view to judge on one of the axis and guess on the other, barely missed it. I was sad haha. Back in line should be up just before I go to bed.

49 people left for my 3rd try, hope people loosen some big balls or easy targets before I go. The small ones only seem to get picked if you're lucky.

I just failed more than my first try. Another 7 hour wait for me! This is fun!

If you win more than one time they will only send you one item no matter what. I've lost the 2 tries I've had.

NOOOOO!!! That is the worst news on what now is not my favorite woody, I don't even have to ride it with the stop to downgrade it. I never had bad or rough rides on Ghostrider, maybe its just how I ride it. But wow, a complete stop right before the drop is very depressing.

Anyone ever been to the mountain on labor day weekend? I've always avoided going on a busy holiday weekend. But haven't been able to go on a weekday for the past few years. I'm sure its going to be busier than a normal weekend, Debating on getting a gold flash pass as I don't go to the park often anymore and want to get everything in. Anybody recommend it for going this Sunday the 5th. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info! I was talking about next weekend not this. I'm going sat June 5th, Probably shouldn't put a date on it my bad. I'd never step foot into a park on a holiday weekend. Did for cedar point opening year of TTD on July 4th and it wasn't too bad though. But back then compared to other parks they ran the rides really well! The info you gave me still applies to my sat visit I'm sure. I remember Xcelerators line not being bad even with 1 Train op. I could pass on Pony but if its short I'll give it a go, but i do want to ride Sierra Sidewinder. Ghostrider pretty much sounds the same way as I remember it, in terms of line length. I don't mind the roughness, even coasters like Psyclone (RIP) never hurt me much. Maybe it's just how I ride them, or that I like it that way. Woodies are by far my favorite style. Hope I can get everything done and get a night ride on Ghostrider to cap the day off. But I will probably ride them in that order you suggested, Thanks for the long and detailed reply! Not something like; Its' going to be busy, ride Ghostrider first.

Planning on going to knott's next Saturday. I haven't been since I participated in the Silver Bullet first rider auction thing. Any suggestions on as to what to ride first or anything new I cant miss. Glad they got Xcelerator up and running! Been even longer since I've been on that one as well, I think the last time was the first rider auction for that too. I scrolled back a few pages and didn't find anyone that went to the park recently on a weekend to see if stuff is running one train (on the weekends) or how busy it is and whatnot, I know it will be busy but I hope not as busy because school will still be in session. Any rides I should hit first other than Ghostrider that the line wont be worth it later in the day? Or if that's even an issue these days and not have to go to Ghostrider first. Thanks for the help!

I was at the park last Wednesday and noticed the $1 box thing being pushed hard. I like it. $1 isn't that bad at all! Sure seemed to help out on faster load times. They aren't letting you put anything on the side like they used to, When i rode batman and scream they made me hold my sandals.

Can't wait till next month!!! So "Take the tunnel" is to Terminator as "Going down" is to X2. I will say, if this doesn't have any Sinatra in the audio track I will be extremely disappointed.

Wooo!! I'm excited. That first drop looks amazing, has some serious potential. Looks like its going to be fun! I hope Magic Mountain is going to be kind enough to let TPR do a preview or some kind of event. A camp out or something. I will Definitely be first on that list. If not I will be there at least opening week. Can't wait.
