Only watched the 1st one and choice of football (soccer) team aside it's amazing the way you've done them. Really looking forward to the others which I think i'll watch with the mrs so she can see how good it is there. I've been 3 times and can't wait to take her and kids one day. Just a dreamworld. -

People always drop. Usually between 5 and 10 per trip. If we have anyone on the waitlist, they will be offered the spot before we announce it publically. Thanks, so it's worth saving just incase -

How likely are there open spaces and people pulling out nearer too trip times and spaces becoming available? Am guessing people who had missed out in the draw would then be offered a place but am sure I seen late availability on a trip this year. -

I hope they leave us alone now and highly doubt there's any chance of getting the hackers details as they're surely using a proxy or whatever it is that hides there real ip. Great to see us back and thanks for the freebies even if the flyers only make me wish I had the money. -
That tr had me laughing well done. Think i'll have to go october next year for sure. Went in the summer and it was busy busy busy.

I really enjoyed the live talk chat, was a bummer when it went down. Think a monthly/weekly show is a must. I don't have a job at the minute so can't see me affording a trip next year but the chat definitely made me want to go on a trip asap. Keep up the good work. -

Cheers Big Mike. I will post the ducky results in a week or so. So on the 1st september we decided to visit movie world, Germany which was about an hours train ride north of Dusseldorf. I think having been to the likes of universal studios dampened my view on movie world but it only gets a 2/5 rating from me. The bandit (wooden roller coaster) was down for maintenance and it rained all afternoon which doesn't help matters. The park was dead also which kinda took the atmosphere of the heme park away. However the visit was worth it just for the stunt show which even tho it was in German it was very funny to watch. There is plenty to do at movie world including 5 water rides but I can't help think the park is better suited towards the younger generation. Anyways here's some photo's from the day, sadly I missed out on quite a few rides due to the constant rain all afternoon. Victory was mine untill I realised I had a full case. This pic wreeks depression for me. Sadly you had to bring your own harness for this ride. Parf! Now this is a Crazy action show. Yay an English phone box, oh and a man on fire. Action shot. Spotted dick anybody? Happy feet. Busiest ride of the day. Starring John cleese oh yay, dubbed in German grrrr. English and German all on one entrance hmmm New for 2009 rapids ride, had amazing themeing but sadly a lack of rapids and wetness. When I grow up...... Duckie!!!!!! Dunno who the guy on the left is, but spoilt a lovely pic of me and the gf. Look at them crowds. Possibly the lamest final hill on a water ride ever. It's a tough job being a train driver. -
Phew finally got to the end of the thread, only took 3 weeks. What an amazing thread you've got big mike. Loved all your trip reports. Just jealous of all the fun you have. Seems your going to that many parks at the moment it's hard to find the time to put the trip reports on. Love the ducky game and had to include it in my trip report of phantasialand, in honour of the legend himself. I can finally play along myself now i'm caught up. Keep up the good work.

They did. Look at the picture again. There where the R from Ride is. Fair enough all I could see was something in German. Fair play. -

Hi guys and gals, this is my 1st trip report. I had a 4 day break away with my girlfriend in dusseldorf and decided to hit the theme parks which were not to far away. Phantasialand (below) on the 29th august and movieworld (coming soon) on the 1st september 2009. First up is phantasialand which we thought was a super smashing great park. Rides to suit everyone, with many of the rides having unexpected twists to them. The park was very clean and beautifully laid out. 4/5 I would rate it overall and it's well worth a visit. Hope this report is useful for people interested in a visit. I have included some rubber ducks in honour of my favorite tpr thread 'big Mike's roadshow'. See how many you can spot. Now that is fear! Wow look what the rides done to my belly. Get ready for some eye popping...... Superb park and a superb day. Trying to look less camp by folding my arms. A green phonebox grrr there supposed to be red! Notice a missing arm of mine and notice the smile on the dragons face. The new for 2009 ride Wakobato which looked like it could be fun in a large group. It's an interactive water ride were you shoot water out of cannon type things. The campest pose ever! Also check out the eyes starting to pop. My gorgeous ladyfriend. Colorado adventure ventures indoors too. 2 Log flumes side by side. Scary looking themeing close by too. The hotel I think the trp trip stayed at. Colorado adventure - I expected this ride to be short and rubbish but I really was suprised 4 minutes and 3 lift hills later I was changing my tune. The best mine train ride i've been on. Yes I am deprived living in the U.K. Black mamba - The parks most popular ride with the q over an hour long and crazy germans shouting black mamba every 5 seconds. Unfortunitly I never got to ride it. They need to add an r.i.p to that sign River quest - A very unique take on the river rapids ride. Not much rapids, more about the shock hills. Mystery castle - A crazy themed tower ride that sent me white, there is a lot of crazy effects as your hopping up and down. You also get your hair dryed after it's been washed. Talocan - Definitely the best top spin i've ever seen, the themeing and experience is 2nd to none. Winja's Fear & Winja's Force, a truly eye-popping (you'll see why later) ride that is full of little suprises. Fantasy land Wonder if he uses a ladyshaver to do his armpits. Germanys very own version of main street U.S.A. Alt street, berlin. Doesn't quite have the same ring to it. These kiddies rides are the 1st thing you see when you walk in, luckily you can see black mamba in the background to re-gain the excitement. The largest two-storey steam carousel in Europe. -
