For my first day I'd like to ride at least 3 times, front - middle - back. I'm trying to imagine how it looks from 96 ft. in the air looking scanning the view down and around. I used to remember as the Cyclone was cresting over the first hill.... looking straight across at the second hill thinking I'll be there in a few secs. I liked Cyclones back-to-back first second and third drops.

I'd certainly call first. They were still running tests earlier today. I agree with Jason. I would be surprised if it is actually open unless you have confirmed with kemah themselves. They were supposed to start training ride staff tonight if weather permits, I seriously doubt it is open to public riders. I'm pretty sure they still have one more inspection to go as well, but otherwise that is about it. -GG That would be nice. It's dry in the station house. And if it's not raining but just wet and humid, they can practice "loading/unloading" all night long. Yeah, I enjoyed watching Bullet speed out of the "s-curve" towards the bay. It was haulin' so fast, the track at the edge of the bay was "giving" so much it looked like it was going to snap and send the train into the bay .. that freaked me out! lol

I went out at lunch time today. It was hot and sunny. It might've been around 2:15 p.m., Bullet started testing testing laps again around 7-8 times. I took some video. Seemed to run okay from street level. Drove back into Houston and it was pouring rain. Tx Dept highway marquis were flashing "HURRICANE FORMING NEAR GULF... MAKE SURE YOUR GAS TANKS ARE FULL". Don't know if the rain reached Kemah or not.

Storm Erin Deluges Houston... It's like we got a mini-preview of a major one predicted to come later this season.... "Dean" ??? For now I just watch test video of Bullet and enjoy. At least when it doesn't rain you can see and hear the workers doing things on-site, but when it downpours, everything shuts down. ...Does anyone think that Bullet might exceed 51 mph top speed?

Guru .. you da man! You been haulin' with your camera and video. I'd love to get down there this evening if it's still testing... is it still possible to get down there? Man alive, you had on-site access privileges that are memories for life! Congratulations... you definitely deserve to be handed your hat Great video too.

Did they have metal rail back on the track by the bay yet? They seem to be doing a considerable amount of work there. Is it not possible they have an extra/spare cart? -GG Guru, supppose one train is running and second one is down due to problems. Does a third train come into the picture or any spare parts (carts)? Maybe i'm not ready correctly...The train was pushed back and made to the station? After that they did another test run? From the anti-roll back position on the smaller hill, moving forward, arriving to the station. I'm hoping that's what the crew was cheering about : \ Salt Grass Junction and Bullet entrance intersect. Boardwalk

Thanks for the update! They did another test between noon and 2pm. I was not there but talking to some witnesses I have gathered that the train stalled somewhere around the back. They were able to push the train over several small hills and the construction crew clapped when they realized it would make it back to the bay. Currently both trains are back at the bay- They are currently working on the track at the same place that I showed in the pic yesterday. Sorry I dont have more info, Im currently posting from my car computer so Im unable to post pics of the areas mentioned... That's right Guru. I arrived around 2:15 p.m. and headed down the street (numbered ave.) to have a look near the bay. This is the photo I took (photo 2). You can barely see Bullet there adjacent the 3rd hill on a smaller hill where it was "anti-roll back" stopped. A couple of workers were standing doing repairs on the track. When I went around Bullet and to the opposite side at the other far end, I heard the crew clapping and cheering... and I could hear the train whooshing through the structure. I ran back around to the front entrance on the street and saw that the train was being held at the very beginning of the entrance to the station on its last spin around the structure approaching the station. That's what photo 1 is barely. It was every bit of 100 degrees out there and probably more. One worker told me that the next test run would be tomorrow. I was hoping it was going to test again before I left. But it didn't look like it was going too. Maybe later tonite though...??? Bullet successfully arrives at station. Bullet valley'd on smaller hill adjacent 3rd hill.

/\ ... So if I understand it right, each time there was a test run (excluding the first one) there was re-construction work done to the track? It was reported yesterday they were pulling up to 20 ft of track and replacing it , that means possibly they could be ready to test run it again today, if they've finished up. Anyone heading out there today? I bet its gonna sail right over third hill this time... ; )
