Go for it. The best seat I liked was car #8 right side. Going down the first drop it gave me butterflies big time. There was this mega girl sitting in the last seat, when the train took off, her friends in line said "Go Jabba... go Jabba"! LOL

Everybody had tears of joy and appreciation for the Bullet to open on the Holiday. And there was a chill in the air with the north winds blowing. There was this dude with extra long straggly hair like from the 70s, when he got off the ride he was tearing badly.

So true. You can actually ride Bullet ALL DAY LONG and not get hurt in the process. Like Texcoaster said "it lost it's teeth" the brutal stuff.. but I think overall its a fun coaster. Towards the afternoon, the trains were hauling azz. I hope that when spring and summer returns, the wood will give way to the heat and possibly be even better.

I enjoyed riding Bullet yesterday. The first 1/3 is fast but w/o the "roughness". Now you can actually remember the track course. The turn around the bay is smooth and a blur it goes by so fast now. Front row seat is smoooooooooth as silk. Depending on which seat your in, you can get the feel of the "old" Bullet before spot retracking. No head, back, rib aches : )

bitter / sweet ... i guess it seems. I was one of those few "privileged" to have my neck and ribs sore for 3 days straight : ) 01/01/2008: HEY GURU.. is Bullet really gonna be reopened today? what time?

I wonder why GG would make a point to mention Bullet will reach a speed of 51 mph? If it never breaks 49 mph, why not just say 50 mph?

I was wishing for a early monday opening so I can leave work early and ride the NEW and IMPROVED BuLLeT.

Can't wait to ride again! Local weatherman predicting a bitter cold blast of artic air to dip down to Texas next week. Southeast ??? don't know yet. If it does ... we can ride the Bullet with icecicles and frost.

Sounds like its gonna be a smoother experience but not taking away from its aggressive nature.

Wow. Expect the worst and hope for the best. Jmaclip is right. The turn out of the first drop can be deceiving if you're not prepared for it.

I rode it after having a chicken finger basket next door. You need at least an hour to process before riding this fun hilly-twister. : )

Way to go Guru! When its all done, we will know why the name "Bullet" was intended.

I hope its closed no longer than a couple of weeks. Pray. We still have some great weather around here. There was a U-HAUL truck backed into one of the front gates. Was it loading or unloading materials.. who knows.

I went to Kemah to ride the Bullet on Sunday (Dec. 2nd) and it was CLOSED for winter maintenance. One of the park employees said it had just closed on Saturday. The ride sign read "re-opening soon". Any tidbits of info from anyone??
