I've been waiting for Thad to post his report on Tivoli Friheden so that I can post a picture pertaining to the evening. But I can't wait any longer as I'm off to Japan tomorrow (oh, and South Korea - yes, CAN'T WAIT to ride T-Express!!) so I will have to post this photo now. Context: There were a couple of arguments between English speaking people from different countries and different scholastical systems during dinner at Tivoli Friheden. (Steve, I still support you regarding the existence of wind burn mate!) However, with regards to the principal argument of the evening, the Spring Valley juice company would now like to enter the debate! And I support them! I don't recognise "y" as a vowel! heehee

I went back and forth on the calling out thing, but decided it was worth it. No one should behave like that. I would say you've been quite kind so far, Thad. I mean there's been no mention of the award winning quote from this day about smelling worse than a homeless person. (No, I'm not naming the person responsible for the quote)

I have my suspicions about this too! Another great report Thad! Sorry Joe, but it was truly one of the highlights of the trip when that Ride Op called you "Ma'am" & said you couldn't ride!

Loving this trip report Thad! Haven't been on the site for a while, so I only just discovered it through a link on Robb's Monday email. It is bringing back so many good memories! And I can't wait for YOUR take on Thad at Bon Bon Land!! Monster Energy drink anyone?!?! Haha!

I would love to see this video! I was standing at the station at the time so I was fortunate enough to learn about the braking system from the moon - but I'm sure there are so many other interesting facts from the other elements of the ride that I was not fortunate enough to be educated on by Thad!

It was an amazing day, and probably the best working day I've had since I started to work at Liseberg in 2008. I know that the next trip is planned for 2016, but 2016 is just too far away. So I really hope that I meet someone from TPR a little bit sooner Pontus, you really helped make our day all the more wonderful! We really appreciated what you did for us - especially going out of your way to guide us from credit to credit at the start of the day! I look forward to the next time we meet up at Liseberg!

God dammit! It's like they're willing me back to this god awful park for another dose of mental torture & strain!! Why, oh why, couldn't it have been built ANYWHERE else!! Coz it does look pretty sweet!

Thanks for the update Dave. Look forward to seeing more about the park. I was in Abu Dhabi only 2 weeks before this park opened Will hopefully get back 1 day.

Cry me a river would you! Come to Australia & see how deprived we are over here! Plus we're about as far away from quality coasters in the world as you can get! TPR are considering a trip down under....I sure hope it is for the beaches & not for the coasters! Having had my whinge for the day, this coaster looks like a rip-snorter! And that gag about Chinese woodies, intended or not, cracked me up!

You'd wanna hope that these trains perform well, coz man are they ever ugly! I'm hoping that the computer renderings just don't do them any justice. I'm surprised to read so many comments about how rough Voyage is riding. I rode it just after it opened in May 2006 & for me it wasn't rough at all (but hey, I guess it was brand new!) Rode it about 6 times in a row & could've happily continued doing that all day! HW are known for their excellent maintenance records. I'd hate to see this coaster at any other park frankly, or before you'd know it you'd have something like rides like Son of Beast or just about any woodie you care to name in Japan! Still my favourite coaster!

Am very glad I got to choose 3 rather than 1 because I would have had trouble separating J Man & Sir Clinksalot. Jedimaster1227 takes the bronze for mine.

I hope you are giving Fuji-Q a wide berth this time on general principle!

Is that actually the same pole from the original Elissa photo? Is she really a whole foot taller than both Nay & Robb?! Either way, you can't just rip-off the original....some extra creativity is required to take it to another level. So my vote goes to #4
