Clicked them both to make sure. Unfortunately no matter what I clicked, got no reward. Thanks for your help though. Maybe their site is experiencing problems & I just can't understand the Norwegian message telling me so! -

Oh man! Sign me up for SCAD Tower!! Looks awesome! Great trip report as usual Robb. Looking forward to some video updates hopefully! -
No wonder we haven't had a TR from TPR's most witty contributor for so long....seems she's been busy after some dorky overweight coaster enthusiast finally came along and swept her off her feet! Splendid effort as usual Nat. The tumbleweed gag was a classic! Hopefully the boy will be taking you to more parks soon so that we may be the beneficiaries of further reports

I couldn't agree with Robb more. Fuji-Q bites the big one! -

For whatever reason in 2007 it wasn't anywhere NEAR as bad as my rides in 2004...but in 2008 the OMFG I'm going to DIE ride was BACK! --Robb Holy crap! I rode it in 2007 & was so sure I would have to come off it in a neck-brace! How bad must it be now then??!! -
AND THEN THERE WERE NONE - THE GAME IS OVER

I've always found Nat to be one of the most witty, intelligent, down to earth & thoroughly charming contributors to the TPR website with a terrific photographic eye. And if all that wasn't enough, she has great boobs! No contest - Wes to die. -
^ that's quite true actually. After Eejanaika (I'm convinced it's Japanese for "bloody long queue!") broke down after we had been in the queue for 2.5 hours already, most people were still really happy & chatty. By pure coincidence we happened to be at Fuji-Q on the same day as Robb and the TPR crew, & quite frankly, that park can kiss my Coasters that were closed because of rain....what rain??? 4 spits of drizzle for 2 seconds and the whole place goes into meltdown! But as Robb said, what made it so much worse was the way they managed the re-opening. My experience echoed every point Robb made - I think I got to ride 3 coasters in the entire day - & none of them would rate amongst the best in my ridelist - let alone the best in the world! Yes, the Fuji-Q park is in a nice setting, but that also works against it because the weather there is so fickle. I will also support Robb (geez, becoming a habit today!) in saying that Ocean Park in Hong Kong is a far more beautiful setting. I had to ride the Wild West Mine Train there 3 times I reckon before I knew anything about the ride experience - the view just totally distracts you! One thing I will give Fuji-Q though....damn that Squid on a Stick made for a tasty lunch!!

Certainly not one for putting your arms up on....unless of course you wanted to become an instant amputee! -

Great trip report Chuck! It's bringing back some great Japan memories. One thing though. I can't believe you found Bandit to be worse than White Canyon at Yomiuriland! My feelings after riding that (and even more-so after riding "Regina" at Tobu Zoo Park) were that I never want to hear a fellow coaster lover complain about Mean Streak at CP again!! You don't know what real pain is until you've experienced Japanese Wood! Regina took the title away from Son of Beast as the roughest woodie I've ever ridden. White Canyon & White Cyclone at Nagashima weren't far behind. -
It was genuinely good! Their Okonomiyaki wasn't too bad either for a coaster park. But not half as good as the real deal from a proper Okonomiyaki restaurant. For anyone visiting Japan, don't miss out on this experience where they cook Okonomiyaki on the hotplate right in front of you. Our best was at the Okonomiyaki Theme Park (no kidding!) in Hiroshima. 26 Okonomiyaki restaurants on the 6th floor of the building opposite the Post Office which is next to the train station. It would've been 2 minutes walk from the hotel we stayed at called The New Hiroden - which was also excellent!

Hi Robb We ran into you briefly at Fuji-Q Highland. We just want to thank you again for the awesome trip notes you have provided on your site for Japan! Without them there is no way we would have found our way to parks such as Expoland or Tobu Zoo! Your trip looked like a lot of fun & for all those of you out there who keep banging on about how much fun Japan looks - well, it is fun!! Get over there & see it!! Robb & Elissa have done the hard work. Print out their guide & use it as your bible. With no real Japanese to speak of, I am proof that it works and you will find your way around no problem! Quick bit of advice though. The 2 most important Japanese words you should learn are: SHINKANSEN - Japanese for "Bloody Fast Train!" EEJANAIKA - Japanese for "Bloody Long Queue!" Thanks again for helping with our trip Robb & Elissa. Hopefully we will bump into you again at another park soon! BEN (Coaster Dooey) & Vivienne (GotWood?) P.S.- Whilst I agree with everything you said about the operations at Fuji-Q, you still have to admit, their squid on a stick makes for a damn tasty lunch!
