Yes, actually. All the time. In fact, in 100% of the cases where we have banned someone from our forums or socials and they have written us a nice "Hey look, sorry about all that stupid crap I said, let's wipe the slate clean and start over" email. I have always unbanned them. Always. But the reality is that most of the time we get the "F**k you guys are a bunch of c*nts I hope you die and rot in hell" emails and when I do get those, then I know my gut feeling on banning them was probably correct in the first place. All I'm asking for is that people take responsibility for the things they say. And most people don't want to admit that they were at fault or in the wrong, so they just come after us like this shirt burning psycho. And that's fine. The more of those people who weed themselves out of our community, the better!

Not many at all. You have to remember that Food & Wine, especially that opening weekend is a VERY popular event for DVC members, out of town locals (like 3-4 hours away) and annual passholders to come out. Almost everyone we talked to when we attended the media event was from out of town somewhere. Extra comps given to cast members over the summer is not going to see that huge of an uptick on their attendance overall, especially when you're talking about theme park numbers that range upwards of 50 million annually. When you only have about 70,000 cast members in Orlando, that's a lot, and I mean a *LOT* of comp tickets that would need to be given out to make a dent in that number! Just to put it into perspective, EVERY SINGLE ONE of those 70,000 employees would need to be given 15 additional comp tickets from what they already get each year, AND every one of those comps would need to be used to even break an additional 1 million people coming through the gates. I highly doubt that's anywhere near the reality of the amount of comps being given to and used by cast members over a period of a few months. So you can see just how unrealistic your thought would be...

Announcing "Skyline Attractions"
robbalvey replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It takes ZERO EFFORT to upload a video at 1080p versus 480. Why would any company want to put their first impression out to anyone at such low quality? -
Announcing "Skyline Attractions"
robbalvey replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was trying to figure out why a new company debuting a new ride would have uploaded a video in a resolution from like 2006, but whatever, the ride at least looks "interesting" I guess? It least it's a ride that you can see on a parks "skyline" that actually lends itself to the name of their company! -
You know, I tried to look him up and I couldn't get a match on his account. I tried to match his name to members on the forum and we actually had a couple of them that came up with similar names, and none that I could find that were banned. I also have no record of ever sending a guy with his name a TPR Shirt! So I'm assuming the name on his YouTube channel is not his real name or at least not the name he used to register with anything TPR related that would then later be blocked. I'm sort of confused by the whole thing, but I also honestly don't really care either...

Oh, 2 years is NOTHING! Some of those people have been at it now for 15+ years! That's the definition of insane! And it makes me laugh because I can't tell you how many times they threaten to shut the site down, report us to parks to get our "media credentials revoked" and all that happens is our site and socials keep getting bigger and bigger. But that's probably also what fuels some of the hate. Which is fine, IMO. Getting additional exposure, even from people like this is not something I'm going to pass up! Love us or hate us. I don't really care. As long as you're still taking about us!

I think what has always been hilarious and entertaining to me is that all the years that people think I'm "triggered" by any of the hate is that I have been trolling them in the most amusing fashion to me. I openly admit that it is a guilty pleasure of mine to troll these people. If someone is going to go well out of their way to post stuff like this, damn right in going to respond to it! lol At the moment we are at Epcot having a great time and casually laughing over lunch about all the idiots on the internet that feel so compelled throw hate our way. Keep the entertainment flowing we say! The only thing I'm "triggered" by is the pork slider & hummus fries we are having for lunch!

^ That's right! I just remembered we DID wait in lines after Starship! We were in the "Chew" area and there were no lines for any of the food items we bought. -

Yeah, it was actually just fine on Saturday from about 11am - 4pm. We noticed it started getting REALLY packed when we went to go see Starship. As always, our best advice is to get there early! I don't think we waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for any food lines before 4pm. -
True Coaster Credits
robbalvey replied to Angle O. Descent's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm pretty sure there are a couple of new smaller coasters that have opened up within an hour drive of Orlando. We haven't bothered with them and have no plans to. -

Now THAT is a coaster worth going out of the way for! Wacky Worms or Go-Gators, not so much...
