How Much Longer Will Trips Be Available?
nathanhillinbl replied to coasterrider1998's topic in Ask Alvey
Bringing one back from the dead. Elissa, do you think ( I know this is a ways out) That the east coast trip would be about the same cost as the Midwest trip?(If so, i'll start saving my SF paycheck now, lol) -Nate"$7.50/hour sucks" Hill -
I, personally, love flying. Takeoff and landing for me are the best. The way you get smushed into the back of your seat, its kind of cool. I definitely reccomend hard candy, or gum for when your ears pop. If you're afraid, you just have to make the best of it, and think of donkeys . -Nate"You'll be fine" Hill

RCT4?
nathanhillinbl replied to coasterdude5's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
When i switched from RCT1 to a demo of RCT3, i literally said WTF when i saw the graphics, i liked the RCT1 graphics better than RCT3, by far. Everyone has had good ideas, but you also have to think about this from a developer's standpoint. You'd think that if they incorporated all those in-depth ideas into one game, it would be 5 discs, and you'd need a complete upgrade to use it(not that you dont already with RCT3). I would love all those ideas in one game, but combine that with good graphics, and you have one bloated game. -Nate"Wouldn't it be nice if we all had Intel Core 2 Extreme's" Hill -
No Limits + Vista - HELP!
nathanhillinbl replied to Golfie's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It may be a beast, but with vista, its unreigned, roaming around daydreaming. I Mandriva Linux. -

How fast do you normally sell out of them?

What editing program do you and Elissa use? I use Avid Xpress Pro at my high school, and its cool, but way to expensive, the student edition being $300. I also am in the market for a camera of my own, preferably in the lower cost range, do you have any recommendations?

^^^^^ I agree, and think a title at the end looks more professional. Yes, someone could edit it out if they really wanted to, but i think the text watermark takes away from the video itself.

RCT3 in Linux
nathanhillinbl replied to nathanhillinbl's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
i've always wanted to learn to code, but still being in school, and with the craploads of homework i get, i havent really gotten a chance to. I've talked to other people who love SUSE too. Do you know if it includes mythtv in its standard packages? -
RCT3 in Linux
nathanhillinbl replied to nathanhillinbl's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Aah, i hate winblows with a passion. I think open source/the GPL is the greatest thing anyone thought of. How is SUSE from a beginner friendly standpoint? -
Nope still straight after all these years. Me too, but i'm cool with most gay people. I dont like the ones (sorry to bring up the stereotype) that are extremely feminine and constantly stare, it just freaks me out for some reason, but besides that i have no problem with gay people. And yes, i find lesbians/bi girls hot for some reason.

I was just wondering if anyone's got RCT3 working in Linux. I just bought a new computer, which im planning on loading Ubuntu on, and dont really want to have to dual boot. I assume that someone out of the 20,000 (?) people that are on here possibly use linux and RCT.

After seeing Jogumpie's Knex coaster build, it got me remembering back 5-6 years ago where i would build Knex cars, etc. I'm almost 16 now, and was wondering, how easy is it to build Knex coasters? And also, How much money does it take to build coasters of the size and detail of Jogumpie's ?
