Umm..... there isn't much to the layout. The removal of old track is complete and much of the new track is already up and in place. All that's left is the high-five element, the two inversions, and the curve into the second hill, which I hear is coming along quickly already. In the pictures posted above, they're already installing the wooden structure beams and supports for the inversions. Even if they're not complete in a month, they'll be damn close.

If Yolo's line is out to the entrance of the ride, and there are workers maintaining the amount of people the enter further into the queue (like the splitter on X2), the wait is usually no longer than 45 minutes. This was my experience during frightfest Tatsu is similar. The lower queue can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Now that they tend to use two trains, two stations, a bit of the wait also comes after you climb the stairs into the station. It's basically like waiting in a whole new line. Now you're waiting for your train in your station to load passengers, complete the circuit, and unload them, all while sharing the track with another station doing the same thing. And anybody who's been on a B&M flyer, particularly Tatsu, know that whole process can be a bit lengthy. My personal opinion would be to head to X2 first, and then up to Tatsu, or Full Throttle first and then Orient Express up the mountain and to Tatsu, before the line gets out of control. Alternatively, hitting Full Throttle first, and then working your way counter-clockwise into the park is great since the GP all go for the big names first. Goliath, Batman, GL, Riddler, and Apocalypse should all be walk-ons or near walk-ons, assuming they're operating.

^^I found it ironic that the SFMM page on facebook posted a POV video of the right side of Superman. We all know that's just witchcraft though. The right side operating is just an urban legend that never occurs. I do recall the car from the right side was missing during frightfest but was back on the track when i visited for Holiday in the park. I also mentioned this in my review of Holiday in the Park several weeks ago, but while in line for X2, I could've sworn I saw what appeared to look like one of Superman's old cars, slightly covered. *speculation, speculation*. Then again it could be something completely unrelated.

First off, use some punctuation to clarify your sentences and distinguish between two sentences. Second, what do you mean is that true? What exactly are you asking? If you were at the park and saw they were closed, then you answered your own question already. Otherwise, why would anybody else know which rides are currently closed?

I, too, wish they would have gone with purple track and orange supports. The park tends to stick to only a handful of colors and shades: Red: X2, Viper, Ninja Orange: Tatsu, Goliath, Superman Yellow: Goldrusher, Tatsu Green: Riddler, Green Lantern, TC Blue: Batman, Scream, TC, Superman At least X had Pink for a while and Scream had the Magenta-esque supports, but both of those are now gone.

Well it seems the majority of those things were out of the park's control. If I remember correctly, there was quite of bit on wind and occasional rain when Tatsu was being constructed, and wind especially prevented them from installing the higher pieces. I'm not sure who would take the bait for the engineering faults though. Either way, work on TC got started pretty soon after the ride closed. Time will tell, I suppose.

3D art wouldn't exactly work, because the view only works from certain angles, and when you're riding a coaster, the majority of people aren't stopping to enjoy the area around them. I think people would aesthetically enjoy something other than a parking lot, but to go as far as a 3D painting I think is a bit much for a coaster's landscape. I would almost be amused with SFMM trolling us by "repainting" Scream, and by that, I mean repainting the parking lot lines and leaving the coaster as is.

The last several times I been to the mountain, dispatches have been pretty good. Nothing amazing, but nothing compared to Tatsu. Yolo, Tatsu, and X2 are still the leading contenders as far as lines. Goliath would probably be fourth. In the past I never considered Goliath to be that big of a deal, but the massive lines I noticed during Frightfest and Holiday in the Park proved otherwise.

1) I never proposed that Ninja's years were limited due to one-train operation. I'm perfectly aware of the incident that took place this past summer. I'm just considering the fact that Arrow Suspended coasters are a thing of the 80's, and many others have vanished over the years. It's still a fantastic family coasters and has been rounding up many lines the past several months (although probably due to one train operation). 2) I agree, Viper has been known to supply me with some awful rides in the past, but the ride I took a week ago was the smoothest I've ever been on. No headbanging whatsoever, no brakes after the first loop. I mean it hauled A$$. I think Viper and X2 both run smoother in colder weather. Running it backwards was only an idea. In truth, I don't see the park going for "backwards rides" any more. At least not in the immediate future. I had no idea Batman backwards was that bad. I hadn't heard bad reviews about it. Batman forwards is, in my personal opinion, a forceful ride of it's own. I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer Silver Bullet and its spaced out elements better.

While in talks of rides running backwards, I don't think we'll see TC pull that stunt. It took Colossus how many decades to turn it around? While Colossus was a beast in its prime, compared to today's standards, the ride was pretty tame, and riding it backwards was very plausible. I could definitely see Ninja turning the trains around much like XLR8 did. Speaking of, they're still running on one train operation. I think its years are limited. I could also see Viper potentially running backwards in its final season. I'm still upset I didn't get to experience Batman backwards this past summer.

I'll give a brief review of this past weekend. We spent all day Saturday at the park and only spent a few hours today (Sunday) in the park before we drove home to Phoenix (which I just now arrived). Crowds were very heavy Saturday. We utilized Gold pass early entry to get on the first YOLO train of the day. You could tell that the cold weather affected it. We crawled through the loop (slower than it already is) and even the tophat seemed forceless. Immediately after, we got a walk-on onto Goliath. Since there was no line, they let us stay if nobody was in our row. We tried the second to last row. The force you feel as you're pulled down the hill from the back row is AMAZING. There was some major airtime on the hill after the second drop too, air that I never felt before. Again, I thank the winter temperatures. We noticed a few RMC guys working throughout the day. Next we took a final ride on Scream before the re-theme/paint. Good riddance! This thing used to be my favorite ride in the park, but that last ride was miserably shaky. Luckily, I knew all the moments where I needed to use my hands as ear pads. Not fun! Hoping this rehab improves the smoothness. Batman was running one train but as it was still early, we waited for one train to get the front row. Forceful as always. We skipped Green Lantern, because it's green lantern. Next we had the miserable ride on Riddler thanks to the locked-in-place seats. (You can read my complaints a few pages back) I prefer standing on this ride anyway. We were about to hit Apocalypse but noticed it wasn't running. They mentioned it would hopefully open later. I should also mention that Saturday was a bit windy, though nothing terrible as Lex Luthor was still running. We worked our way around up to Tatsu who also had a queue spilling down to the stairs that lead up the mountain. We kept going around and noticed the bridge to X2 closed. The workers said it probably wouldn't open today. It didn't. The excess X2 crowds moved over to Viper which had a bit of crowd. My ride on Viper was excellent; probably one of the best rides I've ever had on it. I don't remember the exact order of the rest of the rides: Superman - As usual running one side. Line was outside of the Ice Cave most of the day. It would occasionally be "delayed." Apocalypse eventually opened and was running two trains. Not a bad ride experience. Tatsu was running two trains, one for each station, which helped move the line. Goldrusher was especially fun. I remember it being rough in the past, but I had quite an enjoyable ride. SUNDAY: X2 was fortunately open. We ran there first and got two rides in, though we had to wait about 5-10 minutes for them to finish testing. Both trains were running, and music was working on both trains. Superman's line wasn't too long yet, so we went and took a ride on it. Goliath - We waited about 40 minutes to ride. When we got off, we noticed the queue almost spilling out to the "I" again. Random: I did notice Superman's Red car was back on the track for the left side (it was missing during Frightfest). What's interesting to notice is that today while in line for X2, I noticed what appeared to look like an old Superman car sitting in the pit area within X2's track. Viper didn't open with the rest of the park. When we left around 1, we saw it cycling empty trains. Oh, they finally got ride of that stupid hair advertisement off the side of one of the trains.

I literally mean, the seats didn't move up or down. They were locked in one position. I've been on riddler several times before and I know the seats move and down to accommodate various heights. The seats were so low I was forced to sit. Also, as of 11:30, second lot was filling up, Apocalypse was closed with a potential later opening, Tatsu was beginning to go down the hill, Viper's queue was filling up, and X2 was closed. The attendants at the bridge said it probably would not open today. Ninja had almost a full queue. We're in line for Superman now. Line is out of the ice cavern.

So my friend and I just got off Riddler. Can somebody tell me why the seats are locked in place? I was forced to sit on a standing coaster. I noticed when we got off that every seat in ever row was like that. Yes I sound dramatic right now, but really, if I wanted a vasectomy, id rather it not happen on a roller coaster!
