  1. Guy, I agree this is not your stereotypical GCI coaster with the abundance of lateral forces. But, I disagree about the lack of airtime moments as I see a ton of them in this ride. In my opinion, this ride seems like it will give the riders that "out of control" feeling throughout the ride. Can't wait to see this baby in action!
  2. Okay, please let's end this "implying" crap and get back to talking about the new coaster.
  3. Are you talking about in price or what benefits you receive? With a regular Q-bot, if Tatsu's line is 1 hr. and you want to ride it, you will queue it up and then wait 1 hr. before you can ride. You don't have to wait in the regular queue line and can do other things in the meantime. With a gold Q-bot, if Tatsu's line is 1hr and you queue it up, you wait a significantly less amount of time (75% according to the website) so you would only have to wait 15 minutes or less. I think there are a few factors that affect how long you wait, but the gist is your wait times is a lot less than the regular one. Of course, the gold Q-bot costs more than a regular one. I don't know the cost difference at SFMM but it is on their website.
  4. -Dexter -Burn Notice -Top Chef -Hell's Kitchen -The Walking Dead (even though we will have to wait several months for more episodes)
  5. And with that, Robb and Elissa will officially boycott the park.
  6. ^Call it a hunch, but I have a sinking suspicion that you don't care for Kat too much...
  7. Replace the GCI with Gravity Group.
  8. Great photos! There is something so relaxing about seeing a GCI covered in snow.
  9. An entire theme park dedicated to cheerful pottery makers sounds absolutely dreadful!
  10. Did you have an epiphany overnight or something?
  11. ^You know, you really should not broadcast "priveleged" information like that on here. While you were allowed access to those in the amusement park industry and given access to inside information, there is an unspoken gentlemen's aggrement that you keep that information as what it is. INSIDE INFORMATION. Especially, as you claimed to have "overheard" this information, it doesn't even sound like you were intended to receive it in the first place! Don't forget, that they do read this board in case you would like to get interviews with them in the future.
  12. ^Could you please re-read the site's TOS again. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=137 Pay particular attention to rule #9.
  13. Same! I've got family in Texas that I am going to be visiting this spring now!
  14. ^^Can we award people negative points??
  15. More clues! This is a very popular destination. Millions of people go here every year. F.U. Can someone tell me what this says? What is the significance of this? "Take me home with you" Where is this? Where do you want us to be? Now that's a bizarre looking building! Here is who made the coaster. Google this to find out where we are! Need another clue? "Where in the World are we???"
  16. Just soo you know, it is expected for internet sites that borrow photos, to give credit to where they got the photo. I don't know any legit publication that thinks it is okay to show another person's work without referencing where they got it.
  17. Okay, I did a little more research and haven't found anything to prove my speculation. I think it more has to do with J.K. Rowling's control over the IOA project and some assumptions that this was a one-time deal. I guess all we can do is wait and see what happens.
  18. Yes! I noticed this as well. Very tasty TPR mints!
  19. Thanks to Robb, all the married guys (or ones with girlfriends ) have an excuse now to look at Hot-Ass. Wife: What the hell are you looking at?!?! Husband: It's a clue, Honey. I must stare at the Hot-Ass for the clue, I swear!
  20. I guarantee you that if by some miracle they actually open a park with this lineup of rides, they will have no problem getting butts through the turnstiles! The problem here is not so much the ride lineup, but the feasibility of actually making it a reality.
  21. Guys, I don't know how much stock I would put into this Harry Potter rumor. I am pretty sure that J.K. Rowling insisted that IOA would be the only park to get the Harry Potter theme or there would be no deal. Unless, she had a change of heart, there will be no Harry Potter showing up at other theme parks.
  22. If they were going to choose a Vekoma SLC, they could have least used the model that is at the Happy Valley parks in China. If I recall, those have been a lot more popular than the standard model.
