  1. Thanks for another great update! I really enjoyed Darien Lake. I was very impressed with the park. It was really clean and nicely landscaped. Thanks Darien Lake for surprising us with the ride-exit passes and the on-ride photos! Out of the two (superman) Ride Of Steels that I have been on, I can honestly say that Darien Lake's version, compared to Six Flags New England's version, has a better first drop.
  2. Just got back home from the Behemoth/Ravine Flyer II trip. What an AMAZING experience. Everything was beyond perfect. Thanks Robb and Elissa!!!!
  3. You can hear it best in the clip right before the part where Kidtums spits up. I believe it is the sound that the upstop wheels are making when they come in contact with the track on the tops of the airtime-filled hills. If you want some more clips to hear the noise let me know or IM me because I have loads of Intamin farting footage. I live for Intamin woodie farts! BTW Robb, this is one of my favorite TPR videos of all times!
  4. Wow, really? I tried it but they were so gung-ho about it, about that and the restraints. They pushed the lap bar down to the point where we (as in everyone in the car) couldn't bend our knees Of all my years of going to Knoebel's, I never got the sense that they were really, really an*l about restraints like some parks are (i.e. I think the fact that the Phoenix has just a lap bar and nothing else is a rarity, giving how much air-time you get on it)...yet for some reason, they were so an*l about Wipeout. It just struck me as odd and un-Knoebels-like. Sorry for the vent. It's been bothering me since Friday LOL. I think if I was younger, The Looper wouldn't have affected me like it did. Not only did it make me really dizzy but my arms are (still) really sore lol. Kind of made me feel old That is strange that they are so cautious about the wipeout restraints. Matt sat on the outside seat and I sat on the inside seat by myself so we could each have more leg room. NEVER sit in the inside seat if there is no one sitting next to you. It was so painful because the seatbelt cuts right into your stomach. I was almost about to take off the seatbelt in the middle of the ride so I could move over to the outside seat, but I decided to just stay put and take on the pain.
  5. Looks awesome, just like every other park TPR stops at! For anyone who has ridden both Colossos and El Toro, is the airtime more extreme on one compared to the other, or are they both pretty much the same? Also, do you have a preference between the two or are they so similar that you could pick either one. O yea, I love Intamin woodie farting noises!!
  6. Great photo trip report Matt! I had a great day at the park. I was very impressed with everything in the park; the coasters, the rides, the food, the (cheap) prices, the quick crews, and the laid-back feeling. What an awesome place! The Phoenix is now my number 2 wooden coaster. I loved it.
  7. Great video. Looks like a lot of fun.
  8. Nice pictures. Check out this news clip: http://watch.ctv.ca/news/top-picks/behemoth/#clip48428 Idk if it's just me, but from the helicopter views, Behemoth kind of resembles Goliath at SFMM with the new style trains and the helix after the MCBR.
  9. Looks awesome! Nice pictures. That one picture of the first drop is really bizarre. The entrance looks sick- I really like it. This just makes me even more excited for the Behemoth/Ravine Flyer II trip!
  10. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing the photos.
  11. Awesome job dude! Great pictures! Thanks for putting in the time and effort to make a nice ptr. The photoshop pics were a great idea and surprise. I'm glad to hear that you're still "feeling the force"
  12. Check out what i just found See anything similar?
  13. Looks awesome! I can't wait to ride this. Thanks for the update.
  14. I completely agree. Everything about that coaster is awesome.
  15. Dude these pictures are incredible. The angles and shots are just priceless. I am speechless. Great work!
  16. I went on the Freedom that depareted from Miami in July. It was AMAZING. One of the best vacations I have ever been on.
  17. Yes, switchbacks are the parts of the lines that zig-zag. How did you take the pictures to make the trains blurry? Is there a setting on the camera?
