  1. Yes we had the ACE Coasterfest this past weekend. It was a great day just frigid. Blazing Fury the lights were off and Florescent lights were on also for ERT and I had to make sure they new we were down so it took a bit. We had a good time. I think everyone was ok with the cold and most had a great day.
  2. AMEN AMEN AMEN. And They will beat SFFT for Best Shows and should've this year and last. And Congrats to them for new Category Best in Christmas Event. Otherwise same old bore.
  3. So on this weekend The Zip line in Sevierville finally opened. I went with another couple from the marina. There is six zip lines that you do. All of varying lengths, heights and speeds. It cost 89$ minus a local discount. Took about 2 hours. It was amazing. Would highly recommend it. Make sure you are under 275 and in decent health. The place is a cabin resort. Very nice and new. Will have a day spa and bunch of stuff but all about the zip lines. Onto the Pics. Shot of the sign Couple that I went with. Carol said that this is on her bucket list. Great words to live by. I started my bucket list yesterday after watching her just live her dreams. Oh yeah she is in her mid 50s for anyone questioning. Carol gettin suited up. Carol you nervous. Vince suited up. Adjust his package. Yeah like that. OMG the first tower. Nervousness starting to set in. Holy Crap that is high and far away. Were is the bunny line to start with. This is the second highest but amazing ride. I am ready Our instructors Carol was scurred but did great. You can let go of the padding now. Vince flying in. Yo I loved it. Onto the next one. This was often neat cause you could not see the other side. Also there was cows and jack asses to be seen under you. This was by far the best line, the 5th line. Very high and long. Can you see the start point? So I was having such agreat time and doing great. They told me to get adventureous. So this is what they allowed me to do. No good pics of it but I fully hung upside down for the ride. Amazing.... Amazing. Here is a movie of me riding it. Sorry about the noise. Hard to hold and brake and hold the rope but did what I could. Note the speed. Was going about 40 mph on this line. I will so do this again very soon. Actually like it better than Zorb. But it did wear you out for some reason. Not very physical except some hiking. But just tiring.
  4. In the video love the guy on the phone on the family slide.
  5. Tennessee Tornado by far # 1 for me only smooth looper. Then Loch Ness #2.
  6. Never knew a ride could be sooo darn rough and that is before the lift hill....
  7. Amen I totally agree with you^.
  8. Did Thunderhead 96 times in one day. Also did the SFOG Great American Scream Machine 30 hour marathon and completed it. And MY Thunderhead ride count is 1,386.
  9. Mine is Looping Star at Beech Bend. Track was a V shape at bottom of drop I swear. Manhattan Express also needs mentioned and the restraints on ZOnga/Tsunami made for the worst ride ever.
  10. Very easy one for me. Beast all the way. Especially with the old brakes, in the rain. And getting to ride with Montel Williams.
  11. From what I have heard you can choose the music. But I could be totally wrong...
  12. Nothing that I have seen shows the que to indoors maybe roof and some walls but not enclosed. I am just curious as to whether or not you really rode it due to the fact of the title of the thread and your initial post never coincided or discussed the fact of you riding the coaster.
  13. remember several were not coaster crazy's like the rest of us...
  14. It was bropken they were waiting on a part from Canada. Dang customs... But it is up and working now. FOr how long noone ever knows with that lawn ornament.
  15. Hey guys Great PTR... We meet you this past weekend and sat beside ya at the Shows... Glad you had a great time... Make sure and try to make the ACE event in Nov. I will try to get some shots of Blazing Fury up on here from the walking tour...
  16. Real big thick and juicy ones right.....
  17. One hint is to get there early if park says opening at 9am the gates open at 8:30. Go immediately to the Q2Q and get one it is worth the money on the weekends. And as soon as rides come up go ahead and put MM on it. But as to this weekend it will not be as crowded as last but still expecting a very large crowd. The festival is over so that should help out some. And cheap season passes are over also. Hope this helps.....
