Why, oh WHY have I never taken the time to listen to Pendulum? They're amazing! Are there any songs by them that anybody can recommend?

Finally, I finished all the loyalty missions in Mass Effect 2, successfully gaining the loyalty of every single crew member, even though I'm playing a Renegade character. Unfortunately, though, I had to repeat Thane's mission once, since you had to (SPOILER)do the Paragon interruption where you distract Thane's son and knock the gun out of his hand so the father and son can confront each other peacefully (END SPOILER), which I had no idea I needed to do in order to gain his loyalty. Overall, though, the missions were great fun. Jacob and Miranda definitely had the weakest, just straight-up combat and then a weak conclusion (Especially Jacob. That was just boring all-around). I'm never gonna forget Jack and Samara's missions...

Okay, I think three and a half hours of Minecraft is enough for one sitting.

Galvanize - The Chemical Brothers I hate to say it, but I'm really starting to like electronic music. And by like, I mean it gets stuck in my head, I practically become addicted to the music. I love it.

Just Lose It - Eminem Now THIS is the kind of rap that I enjoy. Rap that doesn't take itself too seriously, the kind of music the artist is obviously having a lot of fun with. It's one of the only rap songs I've ever heard that I actually have fun listening to.

So DJ Hero 2's online mode really pisses me off sometimes. See, in the original game, you would only get paired up with someone that is playing on the same difficulty as you. This worked, but made it so that it was ridiculously difficult to get into a game. The sequel, however, opened up online play and allows anybody of any difficulty to play anybody else. However, there's a fatal flaw in that. If you go into a star battle, where the song plays normally for both people and whoever ends up with the most stars/highest % wins. If somebody is on a lower difficulty and the other person is on Expert, the battle is completely rigged in favor of the lower difficulty. The same goes for DJ Battles and Checkpoint battles, where you just have to get a higher percentage of hits than the other person in individual sections of the song. And seeing as almost nobody else plays the game on Expert (C'mon, it's not even that hard!), I constantly get stuck with people on Medium, then end up losing horribly to them due to how rigged the scoring is. I can't believe Activision would put something like this in the gam-- Wait. Activision. The company that doesn't give a flying sh*t about any of its franchises that don't have the words "Call", "Of" or "Duty" in the title.... I hate the gaming industry sometimes.

Finally, I'm getting to the good stuff in DJ Hero 2. Translation: Finally, I'm getting to the stupidly difficult, ridiculously complicated final songs on Expert difficulty in DJ Hero 2. This is the song I can't stop playing right now.

Don't forget to turn it up to 480p. I'm dead serious when I say it makes a world of difference, usually it's not that big a jump in quality, but here it's like a different song.

I'm gonna warn you though: THEY ARE HARD. As in, in the first major battle against some bandits that I fought in, I died something like seven times until I got the ropes of combat. Guns are inaccurate. Enemies are DEADLY. You can barely take a few shots on Very Easy difficulty. And while the inventory system is somewhat similar to Fallout 3's, ammo takes up weight. Always. Not just on a nonexistent "hardcore" mode, even on Very Easy. You have been warned. Once you get the hang of it, though, the game is damn fun, and terribly addictive.

Guys, for 12 more hours (at least here in California), the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Bundle is on sale for $5 on Steam. That's two amazing survival/horror/sandbox games, each usually $20 a piece, for FIVE DOLLARS. I should say, though, Shadow of Chernobyl runs like a dream on a decent rig. Call of Pripyat, however, is a bit of a hog, and requires a pretty good graphics card. Just check here to see if it'll work for you.

So I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I bought Civilization IV a couple days ago. It's the single most complex, frustrating game I've ever played. There is SO much to it, so many details you need to know, build orders, wonders, perks with certain tiles, problems with workers and civilians, etc. It's just too much. To Google to look for newbie guides!

Ahaha, I'm jealous of you guys. I received three games for Christmas, the rest I bought on my own. I received: - Mass Effect 2 on 360 (already one of my favorite games of all time) - DJ Hero 2 on 360 - Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box I bought with gift money/my own money just prior to Christmas: - Borderlands GOTY on PC ($25 for the base game with all four DLCs that usually cost $10 a piece? Yes please.) - Civilization IV Complete (I know I'm a few years late to the draw, but this is still my first 4X, I like it so far.) - Left 4 Dead 2 on PC - Minecraft (well, on the 19th. That's close enough, right?) Wewt. I'll be busy for a while, considering I'm still playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Knights of the Old Republic, Guild Wars and Team Fortress 2 regularly.

WANTED: Guitarist, Bassist, and Singer for Rock Band 2 for 360. Any difficulty is fine, I'm on Expert for all but the last few songs in the Impossible tier. Anyway, now that I've gotten that out of the way, I finally know what I'm doing in Minecraft. My friend convinced me to build a massive, multi-level, fully furnished castle on a lake. I have the foundation pretty much down, I have well over a thousand pieces of cobblestone (what I'm building the entire project out of, for now), and I have a plan. Now I just need some time and dedication...

This coming Halloween, I want to make a costume of the Minecraft guy, and go punch trees in highly populated areas. Ah, the strange looks I would get. It would be GLORIOUS.

Good God, Borderlands GOTY is taking a hell of a lot longer to download than I expected. At least Italy, despite the fact that it's nowhere near my current location in California, has freaking awesome servers. That means I can get around 1.5 MB per second, compared to my local server's 400 KB/s or less. This had better be worth the gigabytes it's taking up.

This is one of those songs that you're gonna absolutely DESPISE the first time you listen to it, like I did. But the more you think about it and listen to it more, the more brilliant it becomes, and now it's one of my favorite songs. Oh, and it goes without saying, but the song is a bit NSFW.

Ghetto Blasphemer - Rabbit Junk I seriously just can't say enough good things about this band. They're incredible, and more people need to know about them. The could make it HUGE, if people just hear about them.

My long-distance girlfriend found out yesterday that she might have Celiac disease, also known as Gluten Intolerance. And today she went back to the doctor, they're figuring out what she has, but she for sure has a chronic illness that she'll have to take care of forever.
