  1. More airtime = more opportunities for Intamin to chuck guests! Awesome!
  2. Camden Park --> Pronto Pups...and no, I'm not joking.
  3. They should just call everything Vortex and get it over with. Der.
  4. Elissa, I did read the entire thread. Sorry, but I'm with kraxleRIDAH on this one. However, like you said earlier, if SFI was really smart, they would sell this B:TR clone.
  5. ^Not gonna happen. A new B:TR has zero marketability at a park that already has an SLC. No offense, but not even the Six Flags brass are dumb enough to install a five inversion inverted coaster in a park that already has one. I mean, how many new guests would the ride draw at SFA? The answer: few to none. Think about it, and try again.
  6. I think Hypersonic had the best launch out there. Waaay better than any of the Intamins I've been on. However, I won't be sorry to see it go. After The Hill, the ride was so awful that it just killed the fun-o-meter...and that's coming from a guy who generally likes his rides with a little bit of 'I own you roughness.'
  7. ^No offense, but you young'uns make me laugh. Does it not make sense that hard to maintain and/or expensive to operate rides should be modified or removed? It looks like the only decisions CF is making are sound, business-minded ones. I can only pray that they continue with this operations philosophy.
  8. ^^From amusementtoday.com: "The yet to be named coaster will feature two, six-car trains (800 pph capacity) from Philadelphia Toboggan Coaster Co."
  9. Well, it also looks like a better ride than anything Astroworld had to offer. Let's hope that this may be the start of an ever-expanding Kemah Boardwalk!
  10. That depends on how well you know the ops. Of course, being a Park Op Alum doesn't hurt either.
  11. In the case of Magnum's trims, that is untrue. They can be dialed up or down, or turned off completely by the op on controls.
  12. Nah, it's obviously a panda that fell off of a tall building.
  13. Well, thanks for making my opinion up for me, snorky. Actually, I'll take a GCI over a (IMHO) ho-hum Beemer any day.
  14. I can't speak from personal experience, but allegedly Ka delivers a smoother ride the closer you are to the front of the train.
