Since we touched the topic of Turbulence, I'm so HAPPY they canceled that thing.. I never liked the idea of plopping down this huge mass of steel in the middle of "Founders Circle".. a nicer area of the park. Wasn't it going to be close to 200' to the top? If it was out in Midway America I'd be fine with it but I like the classic feel of the front of the park/Comet Hollow. Midway America already has that huge pile of Playskool vomit (East Coast Waterworks).. and all the nice grass is now concrete.. so put anything ugly out there from now on and leave the trees alone! Thanks! Thats just my opinion.. I know Hershey couldn't be happier with the success of the waterpark.. so much so that they should have looked into building a real one at the Fairview Golf Course land!

Wow I'm glad I didn't miss anything between sleep and working this morning except for a lot of people acting like 1st graders. I know a lot of people who are consistently contributing to this thread are doing it because its fun and it is something to think about and figure out. Keyword = fun. If it's not true.... I'm not going to lose any sleep come next week when Hersheypark announces some Vekoma Roller Skater or something that isn't an Intamin and has nothing to do with the images or anything. It it is true then Hersheypark rocks for hyping up the coaster community in a really effective and cool way. So if you want to post something along the lines of "you guys are so stupid for believing this".. do me a favor and don't post it! It'll cut down the amount of the wear and tear on my mouse wheel

Screamscape is all about Head Spin being relocated to the soon to be empty Hypersonic lot.. I dont know why they would do that though. -

Hey so does this mean.. uh.. no hyper coaster for next year? After my last visit to the park, I think it would have been more fun and probably about as painful to have been in a semi major car accident. I just hope the Villain or Double Loop aren't relocated anywhere near me.. -
Heh.. Yeah.. I feel like I'm babysitting someone's retarded child when Homer is posting. I haven't been around too much to keep updated today but it definitely looks like a vertical lift. I do think that the building height and all that stuff is getting way too in depth though. That'd be really pushing it to find a hotel the same height as a coaster in development! If you can see the top of the lift in the collage then I think that'd be around 150 feet tall.. max.

Wow.. when I was moving back from FL after I met you the plan *was* to move to Briarcrest Gardens with a few of my friends! Obviously the plan failed.. haha. That'd be awesome though. Let me know if you move there and we'll start planning some road trips...

Lol.. Ed! Whatever happened to him? Man that was years ago! I dont think I was seeing anyone when I met you guys. I think Ed was talking to my one friend Lisa who also worked at dragons (who was also a coaster enthusiast) and assumed we were together.. Edit - I didn't answer your question.. I'm back in Pennsylvania for good. I was back at Dragons (and Sky Trolley.. how embarrassing) and was a lead until May and moved back up here to finish school.

No I haven't been to many enthusiasts events outside of a couple of small gatherings.. I worked at Universal and met a bunch of random TPR's though.. Maybe there?

To take a quick break from the Hersheypark nonsense taking place.. here's a Photo TR from my trip to Knoebels over the past weekend. WTF!!! That is some sexy hair there lady.. That wraps this up! Hope you enjoyed. Pretty... but wait.. we were waiting in line for the train and saw this!! ----> Nighttime! Great caption eh? No brass ring.. We had to beat up some kids to get the outside row. It's such a good coaster.. and there's a little ghost child that runs around! an empty station at the Phoenix.. The only thing better than the Flyers... Everyone has to do this.. I wasn't too thrilled about the clown guy after he was trying to steal my girlfriend. Why hello there.. Knoebel's has the best train ride.. you go into the middle of nowhere.. look at some fat squirrels, and come back! It's like a 10 minute ride! I like how this picture makes it look like we're going 50mph. Liz's driving = scariest ride in the park. The Phoenix was running great! Liz and I both agreed that 1.3 is indeed better than the last row. Crazy airtime ALL OVER THE PLACE though. It wasn't too bad except for a couple spots.. Our obligatory ride on Twister. Knoebel's food is so frickin' good and cheap! Hey look! Its the... middle.. of the park! Check out the old ladies checking out that old man! Damn baby! It fits in there quite nicely! There was a big hole after the first lift and before the track starts.. I wonder if they had an issue installing something and had to rip something out. Oh yeah! Flying Turns looks amazing! anddd here's Liz... and a dinosaur! So we went to the museum.. here's me. Fandango is a good ride. I never realized how LONG the ride cycles are at Knoebels. The first minute was fun, but three minutes later I wanted to vomit. Let's play "Create a caption!" yeah right! Wayyy too obvious. MMmm.. The Phoenix! My favorite wooden coaster.. Yeah Parking lot! It looked packed but the longest wait was.. 15 mins maybe for Fandango. Woohoo! We're here! The drive is only around 2 hours but my @$$ hurt so bad. I can only imagine what people are thinking when they go to Knoebels for the first time.. there's NOTHING around but mountains.
