I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say roller coaster tycoon 1 is more realistic, in my opinion. don't get me wrong, I like them all, but I really prefer the first one over 2 and 3. Keep in mind that I'm comparing the three games with the expansions First one: Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes. They have more realistic scenarios to mess around with. There are some glaring problems, such as not being able to see your coaster when you place it, but the add ons are more realistic Second one: Wacky Worlds and Time Twisters. It's okay that you can build a park in a different country, but then we get to time twisters. A theme park in the medieval days? come on.. that's just so unrealistic. Third one: Soaked and Wild. All I can say is I was so hyped to play this and it turns out it chugs when you get large parks :-/ Soaked is a GREAT idea for a expansion, but wild? I don't really care much for building a zoo. It reminds me of the old Sim Theme Park game back in the DOS days, and to me that's a good thing. but the horrndous load times and the sound of my computer grinding away trying to load, not to mention when i'm riding a coaster it'll just freeze for a few seconds at a critical time, and ruin the experience, has shooed me away back to roller coaster tycoon 2. maybe I should get a 64 bit processor and 2 gigs of ram, maybe that'll help?

Castles and Coasters in phoenix arizona? First of all, there's not much in the way of rides. I personally didn't care for their coasters. They have a go-kart track and mini-golf. I personally used to go there daily for the arcade. It was close to where I used to live. I could go to tempe but... meh... Anyways, you should check out the mall as well. It's an okay mall, that is if you enjoy shopping. As for the days I recommend, I recommend you go on a school day. Say, wednesday?

I already have soaked and wild. I want a complete downloadable park to play around with.

Here's what I want to see: A old fashioned "classic view" (lo res graphics like RCT2 for older computers) and of course, the 3D view, as a selectable option Natural disasters. Real parks are attacked constanlly by rain, tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning bolts, etc etc, so why not the game park? You should be able to turn this off and select which disasters you want to happen. Say for example a really bad storm brews overhead, and all of the sudden a bolt of lightning bursts from the sky and strikes a coaster car, causing the electrical system of the coaster to mess up, and kills some people in the car. lol Classic RCT music like the dodgems beat in a updated style. A expanded online mode. Create your own "visitor", male female boy or girl, give him/her some money, say, 200 bucks, type in a IP, and visit a park in online mode. Go to the front gate and pay the enterance fee and walk through the park, buying things and riding rides. Ride restrictions (you must be this tall to ride this ride) Different enviroments (i personally would love to be able to build a theme park on, say, the low gravity of the moon, or, unrealistically, but still fun, on the sun) if I think of more I will post.

Hello. I performed a search for this question and I saw none, so if this has been answered before, I am sorry. Anyways, on to my question. I started career mode on roller coaster tycoon 3 and quickly got started building up my first park... only to realize to my horror, that while I can build a merry go round, it does NOT have the music to go along to it. (I know I'm overdramifying ) I quickly built up a dodgems only to realize that it too, no longer has the dodgems beat. My question is, is there a way to get the merry go round and dodgems music from RCT 1 and RCT 2 into RCT3? I miss the old crankbox merry go round music and the dodgems beat :-/

My first real coaster experience was sitting down to play a demo of roller coaster tycoon 1. I've been hooked ever since. Since then I've gone to Busch Gardens in Florida, Disney World (rock and roll roller coaster) Six Flags Georgia, Cedar Point, and Castles and Coasters in phoenix arizona.
