Yankee Cannonball at Canobie lake about 25 hours ago.

Random TR - So yeah... I went to Canobie Lake today for the season opener.... It was "43* feels like 36*" so being the smart person I am.... I rode the water slide... Well.. The water was on light so it wouldnt get riders that wet... I was the first rider of the day.. And well... My raft got stuck midway down the ride... after 30 secs a guy yells down the tube at me asking if I was ok and what was wrong... I said "yeah... im just stuck" after sitting in the tube with water still rushing past they turned the water up to get me going.... Well.. That made a mini wall of water rush down the slide and right into my raft.. It didnt push the raft down the rest of the slide... It just pushed LOTS of water into my raft and all over me.... So after some pushing with my feet and hands.... I got myself going... When I pop'd out at the end of the slide like 7 different park workers were standing around saying like "Uhh.. Sorry..." ... I just got all "lolz.. its ok" So now I get to add a new ride to my "rides I have been stuck on" list Umm yeah I also rode Cannonball a few times.. Took a lap on Corkscrew.. Rode Starblaster twice and did a few of the flats then left. __________________ Random park update - Like last year a few of the rides at Canobie got new paint jobs and upgrades.. Cannonballs new ramp Cannonballs new ramp New front and paint of the hall New signs and paint on the bakc of Bee-Bop New sign at Corkscrew Land-Sea wasnt ready yet New stage New game that replaces the old football toss and basketball Lost Souls has a new op booth.. The TVs have moved and the line has changed a bit The logrides line has also been cut shot a bit (bad photo.. but it shows the blocked off area) Looks like I had fun eh? Rowdy Roosters got paint... (I dont really like it ) I think this sign is new.. So I took a photo of it. Bee-Bops new cover'd area (also the burger has been moved on top of it) Betty Boop replaced the burger inside. 2 new games on the old Rockin Rider site Twist-n-Shouts new stuff Twist-n-Shout(tilt-a-whirl) got a line now Twist-n-Shouts new look A tree was removed Random photo of the logride And dirt... Well... As the man lives in New England.. And Canobie is a park in New England.. I dont think its a big deal. Maybe if he was to give a shout out to SFAW or something it would be cool..

So not fair... The Exit passes we got were only god that day and we couldnt use them for SROS...

Twister was good? On the 15th it was running the ONE flip mode and then like 3 back and forths.. then the hold.. It didnt even do the "over the top" :-\ SFNE really needs to run that ride right...

I saw a video of it a few weeks ago.. Its tall.. But it doesnt look that good.. And 5 seat rows? Odd...

Knoebels doesnt have a fence around it (and it has a few streets in and around it..) So im guessing in the winter you can just walk around it.

Hmmm... Overrated? Anything at Cedar Point... Raven at Holiday World... BEAST at Kings Island.... HyperSonic at PKD.. All 3 SUFs... GA Cyclone and GASM at SFOG....

lol.. A lot of park staff would read "theme park review" and say like "OOoOOH!! THEME PARK REVIEW!!!" As if it was something amazing

lol yeah we got our .005 of a ride on it!! !!!

So.. Yeah season opener... Or... the day EVERYTHING BROKE'D.... Splash Water Falls was done off and on.. Catapult was down "all" day (it ran 2 or 3 cycles at the start of the day) Flashback was down most of the day stuck on the lift SROS was seen stuck on the lift twice... the Sky Ride was seen stuck with riders.... Cyclone was down at one point... Ok.. im done with the closed rides.. Now for other crap... Twister was running a ONE FLIP PROG! (it suck'd) Scream had 2 towers open.. But both were on crappy spaceshot... I GOT ON CATAPULT after sitting around for "hours"... Just to have the ride go up a few feet.. sink back down.. and then we got off.... Sady that had more 'airtime' then Scream.... Umm I guess I can say a few good things now.. Cyclone was running great... The park looks nicer overall... And SFNE now has a Batman The Ride... Photos - Treehouse... down The riders of catapult that had been stuck at the top of the ride (this was when the ride closed from like.. 10.30am till 5pm....) Cyclones paint line Splash Water didnt have a line when we got inline... But once it went down the line filled up... Weee... It spins a lot... I have mad ball + bucket skillz.... .....Batman The Ride SROS had 2 trains... But red 9 was closed... Flashback...Stuck Later one Splashwater went down "for the day" OH MY GOD.. WE GET TO RIDE CAtTAPULT!! (I was the first person in line.. woo.. and to think we only sat at it for HOURS) Oh wait.. No.. but we get to ride Mr.Six without a line... TPRers... TPRing... Yeah.. Thats all I have.
