chaos
I finally went to Mundo Divertido today with a friend, and it had improved a lot. It wasn't ghetto at all. Everything was clean, and the employees were friendly. The Looping Star didn't have that much headbanging in the middle car, and had amazing airtime on the 1st drop. However, there were twice as many rides as ride ops, so you had to wait at a ride for a while before you could get on. I had a good time, but the park might not be worth the wait at the border. The line at the border As we were leaving we saw the train for the looping star was being torn apart The chairswing was being painted They had a kiddie canoe ride, and a train, but we didn't ride The swing ship and bumper boats The wild mouse was more painful than the looping star A train full of riders The trains got new padded restraints The looping star Inside the theater/arcade were a few kiddie rides. Me and Hector in front of the entrance (I'm on the left) There was a pigeon in the lion's mouth The entrance to the shopping mall Jesus watches over Mundo Divertido
rollermonkey
That looks SO much nicer than the two old parks! How long was that border wait? It looked MUCH longer than when I used to go down to Ensenada on weekends.
Calvin
It seems to me that "Mundo Divertido" would translate as "Big Diversion"...but what do I know. That's a really nice little place, sort of reminds me of Castle PArk. We need one of those in the Valley, just like that. Looping Stars are horrible, horrible rides. niiicolaaah
That looks like a cute park. Thanks for sharing your photos. OUCH at that border traffic!
chaos
Actually, the border wait was only an hour and a half. The park was eerily similar to Castle Park. It even had a darkride in the arcade. However, it needed more rides. We rode everything we wanted to in less than an hour. As we were leaving, I noticed a waterpark a few miles away, so you might want to go to both parks on the same day.

chaos
^ Here's another coaster pic for you. I think the Crazy Caterpillar was still being worked on after the relocation. Good thing I already got the credit at the old park

Jew
So that explains all the illegal border crossings...they just don't want to wait an hour and a half to cross the border!
