If you read the descriptions, then I must tell you that there is a perfectly logical reason for why I didn't stay to see the actors be "released" at 7:00p.m.: I was exhausted! Simple enough! Besides, I was at the park since it opened at 11:00 a.m.

IMG_7574.JPG.24a77a1161286d45eabc0ed20015b443.JPG

I was with a sizable crowd waiting for a man to drop the rope.

IMG_7580.JPG.55c8ffb6e4eca531d47ef49d2b310e4d.JPG

First the rides tested, they then stopped as the Pledge of Allegiance played on speakers.

IMG_7584.JPG.98474fb2f6f64cee8e0d875ec61c6554.JPG

Immediately after they ended the pledge, everyone made their way to a ride.

IMG_7587.JPG.7f4b1679fbe215bb188a2d92c19869e9.JPG

I was one of the first and only people who got to ride Drop Tower that day. Winds were very strong at the top and so that's why they never re-opened it.

IMG_7588.JPG.941c5a133f1daf1d7e3d82a39921f8ee.JPG

By now, I'm randomly choosing a ride.

First time on Flight of Fear. It's now my favorite coaster in KI (other than Diamondback).

IMG_7592.JPG.ee9a7814799f0ecc2615bd70dccab89e.JPG

Also my first time on a Vekoma Flying Dutchman. Pretty cool coaster, but takes quite a while to load.

IMG_7596.JPG.a7fe0bc347d8b97a092dbef0e50da6d8.JPG

Now making my way to...

IMG_7600.JPG.0b76e1fc8ef0442a460e9093857b2426.JPG

A Tree!

IMG_7604.JPG.1d883e0084895714aa37447f3cdc1fb6.JPG

Okay, Vortex!

IMG_7608.JPG.420aef70ace77f4ada87b8a670a702a3.JPG

Almost every ride here is my first time on it since that last time I was here, I wasn't tall enough to ride anything. Vortex was amazing. A few pumps here and there, but still an amazing coaster.

IMG_7612.JPG.b0291a2c076ce83bb9772616413e7cb6.JPG

Windseeker never ran all day as well because of the high winds.

IMG_7613.thumb.JPG.a8eb5a0e9099ec99320c171fef6c7efe.JPG

Looked interesting, but I wasn't eager to try it out.

IMG_7615.JPG.1e52441b3375cdb6c536ebd5d37ec04d.JPG

Yep!

IMG_7616.JPG.7393def79fe2775299edbf40c6dd9786.JPG

Pretty interesting combination. Trick-or-Treating with dinosaurs.

IMG_7617.JPG.2c56bd7bf8266abb87397e04829eaae7.JPGIMG_7618.JPG.8779e97cff7ea4bc0873c54aacef48f7.JPGIMG_7631.thumb.JPG.9f31813b58ec0d5d154b722e60c8af89.JPGIMG_7633.thumb.JPG.ae2b6ece7e9206895b3390e208c40e21.JPG

Ohai!

IMG_7635.JPG.d15fa76a8f4a6f6e461be6da770e38ab.JPG

I passed on riding this ride because of the length of the line.

IMG_7642.JPG.62e1c89d86cde298270194faff997e35.JPGIMG_7645.JPG.1b8cf753a62bd884c442eb03fd77aab6.JPG

The one coaster KI fans are raving about!

IMG_7648.JPG.ded0f0178c60e3ec8134b998f585c6f1.JPGIMG_7651.JPG.b3d38291c974cc4fbe91aa8327945b77.JPGIMG_7657.JPG.1939c9a946b9e072b100a6948b112cde.JPGIMG_7668.thumb.JPG.e2b5b43735b911af523417c48aba99f2.JPG

I'm quite disappointed with this ride. With the cool looking entrance and heavy theming in the queue, I expected this to be an amazing ride/show mixture. I don't want to give it away to those who haven't been on it, but I can tell them that it's not worth riding if the line stretches past this entrance.

(Side Note for the photo before this photo: Either I had my lens on manual focus, or I need to have it checked out. Don't know why it's blurry.)

I'm going to split this TR into sections. Up next: Stuck on Delirium, riding Racer, and waiting centuries to ride Diamondback!

Hier sind wir in Teil zwei! (Hope this translated to "Here we are in part two!")

IMG_7684.JPG.89133a06d510d5bf2c8c42ded7b72634.JPG

You can get some pretty amazing shots of Diamondback from the exit of The Crypt.

IMG_7687.JPG.d6c72559d3057c1c5a4e9e3117ae855f.JPGIMG_7689.thumb.JPG.3616720d19f2b511524c8cda65800d4a.JPGIMG_7693.thumb.JPG.c65d0cf64e1e38d4a98f25f99f1ffa9c.JPG

Boo Blasters! This ride was fairly busy. Is it a good ride?

IMG_7696.thumb.JPG.730bbf97fde488b8158e457aff043127.JPG

Me wishing it was still open. Stupid wind!

IMG_7705.JPG.c5d2aec6de8a69def445a1e39b806a86.JPG

Don't know if I want to wish this was still open. The park seems to be making good use of its station.

IMG_7706.JPG.85c8f614c0e26da6ff2ede1f3accbc21.JPG

Ah, Delirium.

IMG_7713.JPG.2a35ab4cccf3dee63a67ad0593f4a152.JPG

Not as big as I imagined it would be, but still cool nonetheless.

IMAG0120.jpg.e90ca29e8b330613f824b128880d5a97.jpg

[Cell Phone Camera] Unfortunately after waiting 1 and a half hours for this ride and soon getting on, it broke down on me. The woman on my right started freaking out! Soon they got us off and let us get back in line if we wanted to wait for it to finish testing.

IMG_7715.JPG.f0034a2357d25b1bc66e8a022c1c3594.JPG

I met up with my dad (who was eating and reading in the car) and we both rode Racer. Short wait for an amazing classic coaster.

IMG_7719.JPG.5a0be70b4a65f53aa918c3e4bd084f20.JPG

We immediately braved the extensive line of Diamondback.

IMG_7724.JPG.63451eb8d6301cc768fbec6804c46f51.JPG

The guys at the entrance told me that once I reached the entrance, it's only an hour wait. If all switchbacks are filled, then expect to wait nearly 2 hours, because that's how long I waited.

IMG_7732.JPG.197b72098c73c0f915167673466b4da5.JPG

Random photo.

Signage with train under it.

About 20 minutes in and Vortex get's stuck on the lift! They seemed to have been stuck there for 30 minutes before the ride started back up. The ride didn't run for a while after that.

IMG_7773.thumb.JPG.2a528d9d32b401da882e5cceb3540545.JPG

An hour later, we find the vending machines. I don't care if I'm dying from dehydration, I'm not paying .00 for a sprite!

IMG_7774.JPG.f0a6b729ee61490d735b4376459d2ba7.JPG

Soon Vortex was back up and running.

IMG_7778.JPG.56cdfb57f063d3e9a40157c528f1029a.JPG

It had very few people on the first two trains.

IMG_7780.JPG.259bc2d41883d8224d18bcfa2ebc8d72.JPG

The third train (not pictured) was full of people.

IMG_7794.thumb.JPG.8f49f533b7b70feebe24afa43dc7188e.JPG

1 1/2 hours later, we made it through all switchbacks!

IMG_7799.JPG.49f9418087d2e893dbdbf756f3541703.JPG

Beautiful splashes to be seen.

IMG_7820.JPG.cad5462767cc6d6eab729f2ade065be5.JPG

2 hours in the line and I finally get on. This ride produces the most amount of airtime I have ever experienced on a roller coaster, honestly! It was amazing and, of course, my favorite coaster in the park!

IMG_7830.JPG.dc50d29f25020831b1027d39651858e8.JPG

Now let's get to the "Haunt" side of the park.

IMG_7832.thumb.JPG.cf0ebee5358f23d10e734bdaf230c9f4.JPG

Outside Slaughter House's exit was this chainsaw guy who looked a lot like Onision (from YouTube).

IMG_7834.JPG.5ff39fdd8e1c4771160e1781e03a1d76.JPG

I thought of riding this ride, but then I saw the line. I can ride it another time.

IMG_7837.JPG.cc21577636f419913fb0d970fc233621.JPG

By now, most haunted walk-throughs were open and the lines for them (including this one) had exceeded a 30 minute wait.

IMG_7838.JPG.a5c6d33a24fcacc15b593de6967fae34.JPG

Another fog machine.

IMG_7840.thumb.JPG.7cfe731421a59e182474fb42dda27031.JPG

The way to get to Club Blood, Wolf Pack, and Flight Deck.

IMG_7841.thumb.JPG.6ecdc2b6e618dd8036fce51bc199729f.JPG

Due to where Flight Deck was, it felt as though everything about the park's Haunt had faded away. In other parts of the park, everywhere you looked you were looking at something Haunt related. This ride was left out.

IMG_7844.JPG.92beff71bfd3c8ad0cacbe259e4cda32.JPG

This was my first time on this coaster as well.

IMG_7846.JPG.4ac342516106e4c97cf8086c59142a93.JPG

This coaster seems to be a hidden gem because it is an amazing ride! Fast, intense, and very unique. I can tell a lot of people pass up this coaster due to it's location.

IMG_7861.JPG.9eddb7214964ac6c0925a3789eab5221.JPG

And we stop here! The next part will be the last. Not many pictures left.

Part three:

IMG_7864.JPG.de543f37ad82dcb6a050ca80bbdfb003.JPG

Club Blood, along with Wolf Pack and the rest of the park, was getting busy.

IMG_7869.JPG.3b1e410e73e85dfa4f4b677f87666edb.JPG

Windseeker found wind without even moving. It and Drop Tower still were not open due to the wind.

IMG_7875.JPG.4cba9d9d769691d7690adb79dc7ce56e.JPG

One of the outdoor Haunts. It's the pirate themed one.

IMG_7876.JPG.3fe5aa5eb88837219b7fafa8668782b3.JPG

They were running a special for the Sling Shot ride: per person... lol, no thanks!

IMG_7877.JPG.baad4834a00084dbaf7dc62a2915a7c3.JPG

Massacre Manor looked to be a 1 hour wait. The par was near to being packed by now and more people were on their way.

IMG_7880.thumb.JPG.45208c9ffa04767101c5012be12d54ae.JPG

On my way to the back of the park, I spotted this sign.

IMG_7893.JPG.8ad2b5b583391813c91911ff1e6b7d6e.JPG

Right after the announcement for people having 15 minutes left before the actors were "released in the park," all fog machines were activated.

IMG_7895.JPG.00fe6b57cf9f7bb5222f01cfbf98010b.JPG

They seemed to be working very well.

IMG_7896.JPG.f9e0f269893e6795ca19dac887e11b8c.JPGIMG_7897.thumb.JPG.082f3cf4e27290ad6d52873858fa50f6.JPG

Eiffel Tower was closed during this time. You can't hide from your fears! >=-D

IMG_7898.JPG.52317b51f33428654282d8dbe0d0a4fb.JPGIMG_7900.JPG.3ff3bf6d7e0cc657b9ba8c41f18efaf2.JPG

I was too exhausted to continue my day, and my cell phone was dead so i wasn't able to contact my dad who went back to the car after Diamondback.

IMG_7901.thumb.JPG.e37a5473b3b24a569363f6b0c5f74823.JPG

I honestly would have loved to stick around the park just to watch the scare actors do their thing, but I just couldn't.

IMG_7904.JPG.5688b95efcc0313ed3ef7a6a2e985a91.JPG

So this ends my report. Now for a 2 hour drive home.

Thanks for viewing and reading.

Sad to hear about the Diamondback line moving so slow. Damn, when I worked on that ride if the whole entire queue was full; it was only a 45 minute wait, turning 1500-1600 an hour. A full queue should never be 90 minutes. Glad you enjoyed yourself, though.

I would have gotten the Fast Lane. 40 bucks is worth riding every single ride as many times as you want throughout the day.

I already made a threat about how slow some US ride operations are considering the number of ride attendants....

Had it again at Hansa-Park and at the Bremen carnival that most newer rides have red/green LEDs showing if the restraints are locked and the attendat only does visual inspection and only pushes the restaint if someone has it to loosely closed - and the same also goes for older rides without LEDs....on the Schwarzkopf trains for example the ride operator doesn't get a green light on his console unless all lapbars are closed and locked....

But well....you've got to be patient and endure it.....
