ParkTrips Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 (edited) Your park had a pretty crappy set of coasters. Best in the park was probably Greezed Lightnin, though I really liked Cyclone more than most. Still, its probably 15-25 range out of my 50 or so woodies...nothing too spectacular but good. Best coaster in Houston: Edited April 18, 2017 by ParkTrips
ECZenith Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 I'm enjoying SWAT in its new home (my home park) and wish they had also sent us XLR8. It's too bad the park had to close down... they just never added any big new coasters.
apollo210 Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 I wanted to get XLR-8 for SFNE or Viper! Now both of them are in the junkyard, but the coaster's mind are in Ast roworld Heaven (All of the rides not at other parks in there places and rides and rides removed before closer). RIP Astroworld! BUt I would think the best would be Greezed Lightning!

ECZenith Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 Yeah, that can be rough, especially when it stalls nearly upside down... Can't be too comfortable. Did it stall so much in Houston?

Jake_Houston_Coaster Posted June 16, 2006 Author Posted June 16, 2006 Well sorry!! Its just how I type on the Internet
Jake_Houston_Coaster Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 No one liked Serial Thriller the double inverted coatser?
ECZenith Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I don't think it's that people didn't like it... if you mean coaster enthusiasts. Your average park guest probably found it rough, but fun. There are about 30 other Vekoma SLCs scattered around the globe. If built at Great Escape, it will be a nice addition there, as they need SOME kind of thrill coaster to stay afloat besides Comet.
ParkTrips Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Jake you have 7 out of 14 replies to this thread... it may be a stretch, but I'd say this thread is going nowhere.
