PhishyBrewer Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Karen, Gavin and I spent the weekend down near Great America. The entire PTR can be viewed at http://www.brainville.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=359 Here are some teaser photos.
disneygurlz2s Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 OK... first of all....weren't you at the WRONG Paramount/Cedar Fair park this weekend?? I thought you guys were coming out here... I even had it written down in my datebook from waaay back earlier this year. What happened??? Second... Survivor the Ride.... way cooler than Avatar the Japanese Anime cartoon character ride Third.... Gavin, I have a picture of my stepdaughter with her finger in the nose of a St. Francis statue. We displayed it at her graduation last weekend. You've been warned. Just wait about 15 years...that picture will come back to haunt you!! Shari
PhishyBrewer Posted May 31, 2006 Author Posted May 31, 2006 ^Yeah... we were all set to come out for Holiwood nights. But stupid me waited to long to purchase our airfare. I checked one last time last Wednesday before I canceled our room at Santa's Lodge. $745 was the cheapest airfare I could find. I couldn't justify it. So we just hung out around home. Sorry... I'll let you know when were out next time.
Bush985 Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Wally, Glad you guys had a good time at the park. I was sooo swamped on Saturday, I never really did find any time to make it over there. It was a crazy day. YOu guys need to come back down and visit another time later in the season, I always have tickets, so just give me a call. -RD
PhishyBrewer Posted May 31, 2006 Author Posted May 31, 2006 ^I'll probably be down again in a couple of weeks on a Friday after work. I still need to ride Survivor. I need to pick up some more supplies for the brew store in Concord anyway. And BTW... The Votex crew was the fastest and friendliest crew I have ever meet. They were dispatching trains faster than I've ever seen any other B&M Stand-Up operated. Faster than Mantis. Top Gun on the other hand... 2 people on the platform while there were 5 people hanging out in the control room??? Thanks man!

Thanks for the compliment for the Vortex crew. I will pass the word onto them on Thursday. They will be happy to hear that. As for TG.... Hahaha. TTYL -RD
ECZenith Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Cool Tr, Bonfante looks awesome, I'm hoping to go to PGA (will they keep the P?) next time I'm in the area.

Bonfante is truly a beautiful park. The pictures don't do it justice. It is a kid's park though. So I get bored with the place very easily. Well... I have the 2 credits there now. I guess I don't need to go back.
