I have to do a 6 page paper on something that has to do with Robotics, so the obvious choice was animatronic figures used in theme parks and their rides. Can anyone help? I really need this, as it is my final for Robotics class, and is due tomorrow.

The animatronics used on rides are just like most other robots. I'd say just go to google; read up on the basics of how robots work. Then add your previous knowledge about theme park animatronics into it.

From what I've heard, Disney was the one who pioneered animatronics. Walt started out with the animals for the Jungle Cruise, and the first "human" animatronics were done for Pirates of the Caribbean.
