Spike-UK Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 The rumour mill here in the UK and especially in Blackpool about the worlds next record breaker has been booming for about 6 months now. I was wondering if anyone knew or had heard anything on the developments of the "Bigger one" at all.

Ed Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Amanda Thompson has decided to make sure the park is well looked after rather than spending £20million pounds on a large ride. After the incidents with Top Thrill Dragster and now Kingda Ka Blackpool have I think changed their minds from an Intamin ride. Especially with Blackpools winds!

Wes Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Just as a general rule of thumb, speculative threads like "I heard INSERTPARK might get a new ride" are kind of pointless, since it's just wild rumors. If there's a news article, construction, or track spotting, that's a good point to start a thread.
