shesaidboom Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I know this is a long shot because of the location, but has anyone been on Tree Topper at Upper Clements Park [Nova Scotia, Canada]? If you have and you have pictures or can tell me what this coaster was like when you were there, I'd really appreciate if you posted. I rode it while on vacation when I was 12, but can't for the life of me remember anything about it. I'd visit again myself, but it's a little far to go for just one coaster. There are 3 pictures up on rcdb.com, but was hoping someone would have more. Here's the link incase anyone is interested... http://www.rcdb.com/id195.htm
Canobie Fan Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 lmao... Tree Topper So far thats the only coaster I have been on that I needed to take a boat to get to... I went to Upper Clements back in the 90s... All I remember is the park had lots of room but not many rides... I rode the coaster a few times and the rockoplane... From what I remember the ride wasnt to big but it was fun and had some air I also remember how it took 17 hours to get to...
shesaidboom Posted April 2, 2006 Author Posted April 2, 2006 My mom said the same thing about there being a lot of room and not many rides, but she didn't remember much else and didn't ride the coaster since she hates them. 17 hours? Wow! Thanks for the info
Nrthwnd Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 The RCDB pix look great of this coaster! This one and it's location looks like "the days of long ago" when mom and pop park operations were plentiful in the States and Canada, with a roller coaster popping up in the most unlikely rural places... or with a boat ride to get to, lol. I mean, there were something like a few thousand or so coasters "back in the days"...? Yes? No? Hope you get the info. you're looking for. I would certainly make the trek to it, if I only lived somewhat closer, heh heh. (Taking a boat to Nova Scotia is a bit "lengthy," time-wise from over this-a-ways, lol....)
