martinb
I know it's only a shop in Main St but I think it's unbelievable, the lenght's that DLP goes to make you stay as great as possible is unreal, the shop only had some scaffolding infront of it, so they do this: http://www.dlp.info/Guide/images/News/Disneyland/Mainstreet/Shops/Emporium/Scaffolding-Replica02j.jpg http://www.dlp.info/Guide/images/News/Disneyland/Mainstreet/Shops/Emporium/Scaffolding-Replica01j.jpg http://www.dlp.info/Guide/images/News/Disneyland/Mainstreet/Shops/Emporium/Scaffolding-Replica03j.jpg Just think, they went through all that effort to make it, when it's just to cover up work thats been done to improve a shop! BorisTF
Y'know, i've seen simliar, giant board covering sites showing what the new building is gonna look like, but never one that pretends to be the building...
Rob562
They did something very similar on the Magic Kingdom's train station last year. You sometimes had to look a few times in the pics to figure out where the fake building really ended... It looks like Disney's been going the extra mile lately on construction walls, etc. The train station, now this, the Monsters Inc doors on the construction wall outside that ride at DCA, and the latest I've seen are the two photo murals outside Pirates in Disneyland, that look like the jail scene on the ride. -Rob
Nrthwnd
I noticed that immediately, too - had to look at it real close and not take in the 'loose' scaffolding, peeking out at the top parts, lolol. Was great to see pix of it all.
