Two new coasters have appeared at The Beach. The first is a steel "Speedracer" with lots of twists. The other coaster, named "Lightning", is the tallest roller coaster in the world. Made by Arrow Dynamics, it is the third "hypercoaster" in the world. It stands 255 feet tall and is built to provide as much "air time" as possible.

Our ace reporter, Eragon, took several aerial pictures for TPR.

The Beach noticed a drop in attendance. Polls of the guests showed that a new coaster was in order. And not just any coaster... a looping coaster. So The Beach contacted Anton Schwarzkopf and added a nice custom looper.

The Beach was taken over by Idylwild Corporation, owner of Idylwild Heights and Idylwild Mine. The park is now Idylwild Beach, but Idylwild allows each of its parks to develop differently. Now flush with cash, Idylwild Beach decided to buy a B+M inverted coaster, Falcon. The layout is based loosely off Batman: The Ride, but this coaster features a "cobra roll" and airtime. It is the tallest and longest inverted coaster in the world.

I have to get this off my back. You cant just plop a bunch off twisted rides down and call it a park. Sure you need some thrillers, but theres a certain art to making rides. You have to make it pleasing to the eye by themeing it, and not making EVERY one a jumble'd speghetti bowl. Also, you need some flats to warm people up and cool them down before and after the ride. Not everyone is a thrillseeker you know. If you want an example of how to do this, check out my Legacies series. Its a realistic setting that still provides thrills for the whole family...

I have to get this off my back as well. I suck at themeing, and I kinda like the chaotic effect the plopping-down-of-rides brings to my park. However, I think Idylwild Beach does need some flats. The problem with flats is it leaves me with empty coaster trains, which depresses me. Fortunately, 1994 brings a bunch of themeing. (I'm up to 2001 here, and I think that I need more themeing.)

So, its not really real time, because there is no way that a park could get coasters that quickly and yes, its must have more than just coaster, but I REAALY liked the turnaround on Speedracer!
