coasterdude5 Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 This is pretty strange. When I click on the "forum" button, it sends me this security warning asking if it's okay to download the file "forum". So I downloaded it and it comes up with what I guess is the forum code. But that's only in the AOL browser. Our DSL's browser works fine. Is this something with AOL or what? Thanks for any help!!
Ed Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I've had the had same with firefox and internet explorer.. Although it was the IE plug-in for firefox.. Either way I have to go through my history to find these forums!
TheGreatOne Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I had an issue, too. I had this forum bookmarked under tpr.com/forum, and it prompted me for the same thing. However, I updated my bookmark to tpr.com/forum/index.php and it gives me no problems.
coasterdude5 Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 Clear your cache. That worked, thanks!
SonOfBeastSucks Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I just had this same problem. I had to click the link in a "New PM has arrived" email, send a PM, and then click "back to index" in order to access the forum.
robbalvey Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Something "weird" happened on the server yesterday and it's all fixed. But you might have to clear your cache if you get that error. --Robb
coasterdude5 Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 ^Yeah, that's all I had to do and now it seems to be working fine.
dougr Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I got a download file prompt for blahblah.php. When I left the board to check the firefox forums and come back, it seemed to fix itself.
