I'll be at PCWo that weekend, but I won't be attending the Con. It looks like a great schedule and nice affordable prices (even discounts if you've already got Paramount or SF passes) but I really can't see *THAT* many people going, simply because of its location and time expense. Most of the previous Spring Cons have started on a Friday night, whereas this one starts Friday morning, meaning that people can't show up after putting in a few hours of work. Unless you live in Western New York, its quite a drive to Toronto, along with border hassles and more days off.

If the schedule would have been Friday night at SFDL, all day Saturday at PCW, and Sunday morning at Martins, things may have been different, but who knows, maybe SF isn't even opened that Friday yet!

If you are going, it IS a lot better than last year's prices and maybe I'll run into you briefly on Saturday morning.

Damn ACERs better not break the Silver Comet!

It's nice to see an event take place in my area. Not that I'll be attending, but this area is sort of neglected. I mean, when you think "I want to go ride some coasters!" you don't automatically think WNY/SO.

I was really tempted to do this - I enjoyed both WNY parks and I still am missing about 1/3 of the Wonderland credits (plus, riding Shockwave again would be fine by me! ).. I mean I even have places to stay for free, but alas, having just visited last year and with huge travel plans coming up after that, I'd have trouble justifying another trip.

I think that we're going to do this. We had planned a trip up to that area anyway. The price with the season pass discounts sounds good plus it's a great chance to take in PCW at a leisurely pace with all of the ERT. Unfortuantely neither Marineland nor Seabreeze is going to be open yet (or at least from what I saw of their 2005 calenders), so we might have to make a return trip up there to get those in.
