rollercoasterdan Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Bobcat is a small GCI twister with a feeble attempt at terrain. The trackwork is done (completely made but hand tweaked in the elementary then AHG'd) and I'm working on cleaning the supports up and adding in the steel bracing. I'll make a car texture and maybe some low-grade 3ds (i'm not good with them). Here are some pictures...... http://nldc.interfix.net/p1537
Twister II Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Wow! That's really awesome! Your other projects looks great as well.
rollercoasterdan Posted February 10, 2006 Author Posted February 10, 2006 Depending on the turns the lats vary, but there are still many good turns with lats. I went with the AHG not only for a smoother track but to get the swooping transitions feel which is quite rare abd a ton of fun on a woodie. THis is the biggest reason I chose the GCI train style.
rollercoasterdan Posted February 10, 2006 Author Posted February 10, 2006 Completely elementary made.....and if there werent enough lats its easy ennough to tweak it and send it through the AHG again. I tried to keep the G's as realistic as possible for the wooden coaster style, there are plenty of great forces on the ride, but nothing too extreme.
rollercoasterdan Posted February 12, 2006 Author Posted February 12, 2006 Well I've worked long and hard and......I finished the station and queue area.....and I think it looks great. Here are quite a few pictures http://nldc.interfix.net/p1537
