What Now Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 The pictures: ...Now you don't. Now you see it (sort of)... Josh went a little crazy with the chopsticks. The car would usally stay at the top for a couple of seconds before drop, during my ride the car droped rihgt after reaching the top. Not really droped, more like gently glided down the tower. Monty is close to 30 years old and it still kicks ass. It's Xcelerator, 'nuff said. Fun coaster, crappy ops Ghostrider was running pretty good during ERT. I rode Sliver Bullet several times during Friday night ERT
robbalvey Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 LOL! Great pics Evan! --Robb "Good to hang out with you during our weekend." Alvey
Hattuchili Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Great pictures. I like the last one with the flowers. The castle is very small that is true, but I like it. Because it is the first Disneyland castle and that makes it kind of special for me. --Soeren
Mr.Six Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Great Photos! I must agree that monte still does kick some major ass! Michael "Best Coaster of the Day!" Thomas
Sir Clinksalot Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Nice Pics Evan I think Josh was certainly the most photogenic person of the weekend.
Real Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 On the S&S tower, if you got to the top and just glided down, you should have gotten another ride. What happens is the holding brakes didnt catch the fins and its sort of like an e-stop on a flat ride. Same thing happened to me on power tower. Got all the way to the top, then, instead of the nice "click - THUD" there was no sound and we just glided back down. But we got another ride. Still weak. I want an Intamin Drop tower...
