larrygator Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Robb - since you are credited with the pictures posted with this coaster on rcdb. When did you take those pictures? rcdb says it has been SBNO for two years, but a sign says it is open on special Sundays. This was brought up on another site and I decided to go to the source of the photo for the answer.
gisco Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I rode Delphis last September and it was a Saturday night. The multi-story mall it is located in was dead. I remember only a couple of stores open on the ground floor and I think they were both restaurants. Non of the other rides were operating. I don't see how it can last much longer before it is SBNO.
SharkTums Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 We've heard for awhile that it's closing down. The place is really crappy and was the only place in all of Japan that I felt a little 'uneasy' and to top it off some scary homeless guy followed us around!
dubaidave Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 When I was there last April the whole place was closed. Trains were on the track but looked like they were stored for the winter. No knowing Any Japanese I was unable to find if it was goin o open at all. I have photos of the signs posted arounf the mall so if anyone can read Japanese, let me know and I will post them. ^ I agre it was the only place I felf uneasy and I spent 10 days in Japan on my own.
rollermonkey Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Post them here, or PM me so you can e-mail them to me and I'll ask my wife to translate them for me.
dubaidave Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Damn, I wish I had known about you this time last year. her ya go. But no body was there. Everything was lit up The train was on the transfer track And this these were over the ticket machines
rollermonkey Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I'm not in port today, but after I get home I'll ask her what they say. (I love the misspelling of 'chickets' (sic) on the 3rd sign.)
dubaidave Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Ok, Finally, I have re grabbed the signs and atempted to improve the quality. See if these are any better. cheers
rollermonkey Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Yes, those are much better! Of course, I'm at sea again, so I'll have to remember when I get home!
