DannyBoy Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Hi all! I've been lurking for a while and decided to make my first post and say 'hey'. This place seems really cool with lots of great people. Big thanks to Robb and Elissa for making a place for all us coaster nuts to chill and share all our good times at parks! That said, I'll be making my 2nd trip to Southern California in May and plan on hitting SFMM for the first time. I was wondering if anyone knew when Six Flags considers "spring", since I haven't seen an actual opening date listed for Tatsu and I'm hoping its running when I'm there. Later peeps, DB
Blazen_AZN Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Welcome to the boards! Note: sucking up to R&E will not get you a free DVD; don't bother. (JP, Robb, elissa, you guys are awsome.) I was wondering if anyone knew when Six Flags considers "spring" According to their website, they consider spring to start in late october. However, they start opening their gates all week on March 20th. Analyists question the park's decision to start daily operations in the season referred by SFI as "mid-winter". ---- Its open almost every weekend of the year, so them not being open shouldnt be a problem. As for Tatsu, they'll open it when they're done building it. Since they have no off-season, they really dont need to finish by a specific date (most park's opening day). Tatsu will be open by May. I'm thinking an April opening.
SharkTums Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Hey DannyBoy! Welcome to the site and thanks for the kind words. Tatsu should definitely be open in May. When in May are you planning on coming out here? Robb and I usually throw some sort of shindig that month that you'd be welcome to! BTW nice Avatar!
DannyBoy Posted January 28, 2006 Author Posted January 28, 2006 Hey Elissa! I'll be landing in Vegas during the last weekend of April (yet to be officially finalized), spending 3 or 4 days there. I've checked out all the Vegas stuff on the site and plan on checking out the Statosphere stuff and Speed. After that I'll be heading to SoCal from May 4-11th. Planning on hitting both Disney parks and SFMM at least. Then its back to Vegas for a day or two and fly out. Any advice is welcome. DB
Twister II Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Just be aware that it is a new ride. So it could be down a couple of days/hours. Then, it could have a delayed opening too.
