Six Flags Season Pass "Select Days"

Okay, I'm about to get a season pass, and I have a question that I'm wondering about: On the SF site, it says the free tickets for friends are valid on select days. I was wondering if anyone knew how "select" these were, like weekends only, or only at a certain time of year. Does anyone know?

The coupon is only good on the days that are listed on it.

 

Select days means: special weekends, special days/dates, holidays ect...

I know, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what the dates are. Because I don't get the actual coupons until I activate the pass, presumably in April.

I'm sure it depends on the park and the year. I've had an SFMW pass for a few years, and there's been a cutback in bring-a-friend days. Last year, there were lots of 50% discounts (but anyone who can't get into a Six Flags for 1/2 price isn't trying) as well as Father's Day coupons and the like. Absolutely free days were Sundays in June, August 23-Sept. 3, and Sundays Sept. 11-Oct. 2. That's significantly fewer days, as I recall, than the year before. So whatever you'll actually get is probably a crapshoot at best...

I know June 2 will probably be one,but you better expect to wait in long lines since every person with a SP brings their friend. I think there are a few earlier than that, and you would be better going then so you are not going on a last day of school.

For GAdv in 2005, they gave you two BAFF passes that you can use any time in April, then one in a coupon booklet that could be used any time through June 30. Also in the booklet were BAFF passes for Mother's and Father's Days.

Yeah, it changes year to year at SFKK. Usually, I get a coupon that is good for a specific week or so sometime in the summer, one for a specific day, and one for Fright Fest. It really depends though. It changes every year and I doubt you'll really find many people that know what this yes is going to be.
