Shockwave Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Did Kumba always have seatbelts? I'm sure that Dragon Khan and Kumba operated without them for a while, or maybe I'm seeing things.
CoasterCrazy88 Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Great TR Anthony! The pics are really nice! ---Antonio"Glad you are having a good time"G.
socalMAN123 Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Anthony, you're making me want to go to Florida even more and more. Now I can only wish that I had enough money to go there. Nice pics anyways! ---Brent 8)
CoasterCrazy Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 Did Kumba always have seatbelts? No Kumba got them a couple of years ago, when I went to BGT back in 2001 or 2002 it didn't have seat belts. I just arrived back in Atlanta, I will be posting pictures from USF tomorrow!
CoasterCrazy Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 Sorry for the double post! The day started out overcasted, then it rained from 10:30-11:30. The first thing that I rode was ROTM, the tomb that you walk through looks awesome! I didn't use my express pass yet since it was a walk on! I rode it once in the front and once in the back seat. I like the back a lot more than the front seat. After I rode ROTM went to ride Earthquake but it wasn't open yet. Since it wasn't open I went to MIB which is one of my all time favorite dark rides, it was also a walk-on. I rode it twice, I got a better score the second time that I rode it. After I rode MIB I went to Woody Woodpecker and it had a 10 minute wait. It wasn't that great but at lest is was a credit. Then I went to ET since I didn't ride it last time I visited the park. After I rode ET I went to the Fear Factor Live show. The best part of the show was when they picked people from the crowed to eat a bug, worms and sour milk shake. After the show was over I went to MIB to ride it again, I used my express pass this time since it had a 40 minute wait. Then I went to ride JAWS, my favorite part of the ride is when the water lights on fire. After I rode JAWS I went back to Earthquake to see if it was open, I used my express pass since I didn't feel like waiting to ride it. After I rode Earthquake I went back to ROTM and rode it in the back seat again, it had 70 minute wait but my wait was only about 15 minutes. After I rode ROTM I went to Sherk 4-D and I'm glad that I had a express pass because I only had to wait 10 minutes! After I exited Sherk 4-D I went over to a wall that they had set up for the parade. I left the park before the parade was over so that I could beat some of the crowds. If you go to USF/IOA on a holiday I highly recommend buying a express pass. Here are some of my pictures from USF:
chaos Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Nice pictures. Too bad most of the rides at Universal Studios ar indoors.(I mean for the pictures, not the rides themselves)
USRoadTripper Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Nice TR...you have some great pics! They need captions though, for anyone who hasn't been to the parks, they can know what they are looking at. Otherwise, very cool! Makes me want to go to Cypess Gardens hehe -Julie
Gregory DG Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Wow, they barricaded off the DeLorean? Huh... I guess too many people were touching it and messing it up. Not like natural elements can do that...

JT3000 Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Wow, they barricaded off the DeLorean? Huh... I guess too many people were touching it and messing it up. Not like natural elements can do that... Uhh.... it was never NOT barricaded.
Gregory DG Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 It wasn't barricaded off to the extent it is now. It used to be you could touch it pretty easily. I'm breathing on it...
