coasterdude5 Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 (edited) Geboldi Europe Breaks Ground Europe's newest themepark, Geboldi Europe, has finally began construction. But due to the park being secluded in the foothills of the Alps, it is extremely hard to see what is going on. It also does't help that there is a no fly zone over the park and no building or attraction can rise 3 stories off the ground. But the pictures that planes high above the no fly zone have caught a rather decent glimpse of the park. So far, the only attraction is known as Tremore'. Built inbetween two mountains, Tremore' seems to have two lift hills and one tunnel fly-through. See the pictures below. Tremore' An overview of the park so far. Edited November 11, 2010 by mcjaco
CoasterPeep7 Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 You are so creative with your parks and coasters! I like the way you are going with this park. Looks like it's going to be a great one! Keep up the good work!
Hattuchili Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 I agree with coasterpeep7. Good job, man! I hope to see more soon! --Sören
MSLSM Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 It looks good so far, and keep up the good work. You put a lot of detail in to your parks, and you really take your time. Hopefully this park will not have anyone like the Ropers living near the park. lol
coasterdude5 Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 Thanks for the kind words everybody! Right now, I'm having big problems with the entrance area. The European wall set is really hard (IMO) to work with. More pictures soon!
Luxo Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Wow, that's alot of foliage! I really like what you have so far!
coasterdude5 Posted December 19, 2005 Author Posted December 19, 2005 ^Thanks! Foliage can make any park look good! Here's a tiny update to tide everyone over until later! Oh no, our worst fears are confirmed! Razu from Swahilli Village (Geboldi Swahilli Village) is being scrapped!! They've finally started on the Town Square area!!
smallish Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 You took out Razu! How dare you ! I am no longer your friend! Yeah, I'm like just kidding and stuff. Still, I COMMAND YOU TO MAKE A COOL ATTRACTION!! I'm kiddn' bout that to, except for the cool attraction part.
coasterfreak101 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 I ALSO COMMAND YOU TO MAKE A COOL ATTRACTION!!!!! As said from me in the Geboldi Europe thread, WHY What did Razu do to you I like this park. Wow, that sounded dull I find one thing funny in these recent pics, though. In the first pic, there was a construction site for track, but no track. In the second pic, though, there was (demolished ) Razu track Anyways, keep up the great work, can't wait for more from the GEBOLDI chain!!!
coasterdude5 Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 ^Yeah, I hoped no one would notice that! Here's a picture of the town square, I'm really liking how its turning out! Not quite done yet
coasterfreak101 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 I like that better than the white abstarct tunnel sides, they looked out of place I really like those buildings, they set the mood, like an entrance always does, for the park. They really portray a quaint village, and if that is what you were kind of going for, great job Keep up the great work!!! Can't wait for more. YOU STILL KILLED RAZU
coasterdude5 Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 Like I said - Razu Memorial Thread
coasterdude5 Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 Here's a short update with some "interesting" pics. NEXT UPDATE: The new ride will be built and announced! The townsquare is done! (Except for putting in the stores inside) Hmmm.... What's this?
coasterdude5 Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 I'm not telling... Just wait until tommorow!
coasterfreak101 Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 Oh Oh Oh!!! I call B&M Twister coaster!!! If I am not right I will have to hunt you down Just kidding, can't wait!
Hattuchili Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 I like that place! Keep that good work coming! --Sören
coasterdude5 Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 Okay everybody, I've ran into a little problem here. When I chose to have a height limit on my park, I figured I couldn't build 30 feet above ground. But you can't get track 30 feet above the ground ANYWHERE. Even if it's below ground. So until I find a way to get this stupid height restriction taken away, I'll have to stop working on Geboldi Europe. If anybody has any ideas on how to remove the restriction, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
CoasterPeep7 Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 :gasps:  That means you can't continue if you can't find a way! :mouth wide open: That is going to be sad...
coasterdude5 Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 Yeah, I guess I could go back and redo the whole setup. (I saved the land) and then just save the coaste and rebuild it. But it will be very hard with the underground portions.
coasterfreak101 Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 There isn't an option for changing the goal in the Convert Saved Game to Scenario option? If not, you will have to start over. Unless 8Cars has an option for changing the goal. Don't think so though You will very likely have to start over, GEBOLDI: Europe will get a facelift
spaminacan11 Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 8 cars can make it so u can build up to 600 feet
coasterdude5 Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 Its alright everybody, I just started over. Like I said, I had saved most of it so all I have to do is redo town square and put in Tremore' Geboldi: Europe Lives!!!!
coasterfreak101 Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 That, or if you haven't already deleted the park, you can go into 8Cars as spaminican said, and there's an option for unlimited height restrictions Either way, YAY IT LIIIIIIIIIIIIIVES
