Flying Sims question: Joystick supported?

Does anyone know of any pc games that are joystick supported. BAttleField 1942 isn't.

i would like to try flying games online, but don't know of any flyers that work with joysticks. push-button flying bites.

umm...this forum is for rollercoaster video games. you'd get a better response in the anything goes area

Well, i would think most games would be, (i don't know why you want to play BF1942 with a joystick, but whatever)

 

did you look for the button config setup in the game? if there is one, (and there usually is on a computer game) do whatever you need to edit a command, and when it it tells you to put in the new button, press a button on your joystick (or push it in a certain direction)

 

example

highlight the shoot command, and when it asks for your new key, press the trigger on your stick.

I'm sure flight simulators are joystick supported... I mean come on now... it wouldn't be a flight SIMULATOR without a joystick!

 

 

I've always wondered what it would be like to play roller coaster tycoon with a joystick... brb
